The Mexican political party PAN is holding meetings in California and other states. They are registering the party in the United States. In California today they were telling the illegals that Calderon and Fox (who I hear was actually there) were promising them United States citizenship. Our politicians aren't enforcing our laws, and trying to sneak amnesty bills into military funding bills. They wait for years just to get considered, they have to get a sponsor and everything, and even after all that they can still be denied. Some of the cases I've read about people have waited for 20 years just to get in. Our immigration system is broken, we need to make it a more practical, reasonable process.

Claiming that NAFTA is responsible from illegal immigration is not an accurate statement. NAFTA was only implemented in 1994, but by 1986 there were already at least 3 million illegal aliens in the USA.

Look up "Maquiladoras". US companies have been exploiting cheep Mexican labor since the 60's.  Most maquiladoras don't even pay mimimum wage. All's NAFTA really did is make it easier for US companies to set up shop down south. Ok, and so why don't Mexicans fix their own country instead of coming here, right? Mexico is not as free as you think. This is a country infamous for taking out people who have spoken up against the govt.
