  • Horrible arrogant interviewer, telling Hancock you cant have felt this, you cant have felt that. What a egotistical tit.

  • I think the interviewer did a pretty good job. There are one or two things I'd do differently, but John Freeman was very succesful so he must have been doing something right. Compare this to the Gilbert Harding interview.

  • He failed to get into ENSA which must have hurt a bit. The interviewer didnt prod him on it though.

Fascinating interview i dont think you will see a better one.

  • Certainly shows that certain interviewers never pulled their punches in the 60s- I can only think of Jeremy Paxman nowadays who might have the audacity to be so bolshy. Still, found it a bit uncomfortable that he kept going back to issues of money and earnings, was it really that important?

  • A tortured genius, Why doesn't someone over here get hold of his Australian episodes and show them over here, We to my knowledge have never seen any of his Australian shows.

  • @josephamego1528 There are a couple on Youtube; they're extremely painful to watch and to be honest I wish I'd not seen them.

  • If the camera was brought in any closer it would be up his nostril. At such close quarters he bears a certain resemblance to Lou Costello.

  • Wow. That reporter should be taken out and shot, what a prick.

  • Absolute genius! Thanks for wonderful video!
