This is a cute video and made me smile. It shows the love they had for Sam and how much their fundraising really enriched his life. The terrible story of this family's tragedy broke my heart. The world is much poorer without these 3 people in it.

Jahan, U raise important points that many of us are thinking. The world is Darwinian in its ruthlessness. Please don't scream, but Jesus himself knew this and wept at the death of a dear friend, as we are all weeping for the Putticks. What makes me suspect there is a God is the incredible love shown by people such as these parents (and by Jesus in his lifetime). It's not Darwinian mechanics, it's ... like ... divine. U can see the boy was happy and blessed until the end, despite his handicaps.

It is with great sadness we have to share the terrible news about Neil, Kazumi and Sam. Sam died from meningitis on Friday and it seems that Neil and Kazumi took their own lives shortly after that.

We are all very shocked at this terrible news and thinking of everyone who cared for Sam or were close to Neil and Kazumi who are dealing with this tragic situation.

We are all better for knowing them and Sam could not have wished for better parents.

What a beautiful, smart child he was. His parents loved him so very much and he was their whole world. You can hear the love and pride in their voices. God bless them all, may they rest in peace, and may their families find some comfort.
