I remove my makeup in the shower, sounds weird but when i wear makeup at the end of the day i have to shower if i use makeup wipes or any makeup remover my face just dosent feel clean :/
I'm 51yrs old and I recommend that you do what I have been doing around my eye areas for over 20yrs, take an egg white (throw yoke away) dab some around your entire eye area (top and bottom) and let dry, do daily if you can to keep it tight and the skin from wrinkling. Keep the egg white in a small container with lid in refrigerator, replace egg white weekly.
THIS IS ME OKAY--i just wash my face first with a bar of soap to rub all the makeup off anf then use neutrogena liquid make up remover ....i love it!!
I use Andria (or how ever it's spelt) eye wipes in the white contair, the red ones feel like your rubbing oil on your eyes, than I use Neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser/make-up remover foam to take my make up off it takes like 45 seconds lol than I scrub my face with Neutrogena face scrub afternfor sensitive skin. I tried Mac wipes and they are so greasy! Lol
Olive Oil is better for you that vaseline and baby oil. Those two have MINERAL Oil which is bad for you, as it makes your skin dependent on the stuff. ]=
I find any of those wipes to be too rough. I prefer swiping my eyes with some coconut oil and then wiping off my makeup with a moistened cotton round. That's just me.
I've been using Clean&Clear's make-up dissolving foaming cleanser... it works amazingly good.... just one wash and everything is gone... waterproof makeup and everything.... check it out... its worth it and its cheap :-)
Anyone who says that tugging on the eye area will give wrinkles is seriously stupid. That's an urban legend that was started by the big corporations so you'll buy special, more expensive, products for the eye area. The skin around the eyes is no more delicate than on your face, and tugging at the skin is not going to speed up the aging process.
makeup removal doesn't take that long, but i personally turn it into a long process because of a past experience that left my face breaking out like a mofof =S.
slightly impressive, but Maybeline already has an eye makeup remover that lasts longer and is less harsh on the skin. I mean, wipes can throw off the ph balance of your skin, and if you really wanna use wipes, just go for frickin' cottonelle or charmin. Same thing, and it works just as good.
Lauren, you are hurting your eyes doing this!!! I use Bioré 4 in 1 Self Foaming Cleanser. It dissolves your makeup instantly (also Waterproof makeup). You just need one pump and you're done. Try it!! Your skin will feel very refreshed because it has tea tree oil and green tea too. I just love it!
Wow, I need those freakin' wipes!! I just use regular soap and water and I have to wash my face a few times to get it off and even then you see a faint trail of make-up.
sorry, but I don't like the way how u r removing the make up from ur eye....honestly, poor ur eye!!! Try to do it more gently and its better to do it from up to down (try to keep ur eye closed).
i agree that is way too harsh to remove make up and wipes just bad for your face they cause wrinkles people just look at the results in this video so many wrinkles around the eye area its better to use eye makeup remover and with that you dont have to put too much pressure on eyes and the best thing to use is extra virgin olive oil i kno it sounds silly but it really works and its good for your lashes! and GANGSTUHchiq, oxford girla has evry right 2 giv her opinion just like u and everyone else
i remove mine with queen helens cocoa butter and a soft paper towel or napkin might sound weird but super quick moisturizes but afterwards i just wash my face to remove any excess grease or cocoa butter (doesnt dry out eye like a lot of liquid eye makeup removers
Try using a cottonball and some liquid eye makeup remover instead. For the eyeliner try Q-tips. You'll need less cotton balls t& Q-tips than the wies you used. When I do something like what you're doing it makes my eyes hurt so much!
You're super talented, but I don't think your makeup removing technique is the most gentle one.
a lot of ''people'' dont understand or possibly know but the more melanin that you have in your skin the more collagen and elasticity....she probably understands her skin yet the face is sensitive... I'm just saying she probably understands her own skin obviously ,,,,,her skin is gorgeous.
The skin around the eye is very delicate. As you get older it become very thin. All the pulling and rubbing can make it thinner sooner than you would want to. Plus use a good eye cream contain retinol or retin-a. All the stress that pulling and tuggin on the eye can create wrinkles and make the eye area look older than what it is. So please try to be gental with the eye area.
@BrooklynQueen1974 actually, rubbing your eyes does not create wrinkles: check out realsimple . com/beauty-fashion/beauty-myths-debunked-10000001582160/page6.html

And you still look really pretty without the makeup too. I love your tutorials! Thanks. I'm going to try that golden goddess look from one of your other videos.
As much as I love your makeup (always flawless) I love your "naked" face. You look so cute and adorable! I know this video is old but I think this is the first one where your personality shined through and you seem so likable and nice! I appreciate that all the more; "divas" tend to irritate me. Thanks for the great videos!
I dont even use makeup remover wipes any more because I use too many lol. BABY WIPES DO THE TRICK FOR ME! and you can get any brand from Walmart and it just takes it off :)
i just think in 10 years the skin around the eyes will be really damaged... and it will look 20 years older than it really is... and thats not nice... is it necesary to do it like that??
I know, I'm not as gentle as I should be. Especially in this video. I should have stressed that because I'm very aware of the damages just the tiniest rubs and pulls can do to cause loss of elasticity. So, no.its not necessary to do it that way at all.
Actually, thats a myth. Dermatologists and doctors have said on many occasions that pulling on your eyes accounts for such a small amount of loss of elasticity. Its caused by aging, poor diet, loss of circulation, genetics (big one), and things like smoking/pollution. Its actually better to pull on your face and get all the makeup off, which can cause irritation if left on too long. So, don't think you're going to be gross and wrinkly by like, next week.

bay oil isnt good for your eyez.. have u noticed after you use baby oil ur eyes start to get a little BLURYY VISION & burn, i used to always use baby oil aswell.. but i heard from my makeup session lady that, some one used baby oil for a long period of time... and after a while her vision was bluryy she had to get her eyes SCRAPEDD DOWNN!! soo yerr, jss leting ya guyz kno!!
