I can't believe the hatred here. We put so much stock in Luke Schenn because he blocked shots like there was no tomorrow, Mike Komisarek does the exact same thing and we critisize him? I just don't get it...

Its the fucking media... They influence Leafs Nation to turn on solid players over night.. and the minute they leave town they rip it (soooo many examples).. Komisarek will get going.. If anything he's doing to much and getting caught flat footed hence why he is minus 13 this season.

What do point totals have to do with his contribution?  For that matter, what does skill level have to do with being an alternate captain? That doesn't make ANY sense...

He had a slow start for sure, but he's looking better each game. Leads the team in hits and blocked shots, I'd say he's more than a pylon.
