I dont understand why are you comparing Asena with Didem? They are completely different...Asena has her own style, like it or not, but she is one of the best turkish dancers...Didem is fantastic, Tanyeli the best for me, but you cant deny that Asena is good. And she is not usual turkish dancer. I prefer arabic dancers, but I would never say that turkish dancers were bad aswell.Try to have a little respect for someone's hard work and commitment.

She isn't that great. Actually I saw the clip of that 5 year old dancing to one of her songs and she did better than her. Asena dances way to stuff and throws her body around too much. Belly dancing is more of a dance where you can contort your moves to look mesmerizing. She's just jumpy. I know shes popular but... eh.

I mean seriously this is sad. She has been belly dancing all her life and she totally sucks. Even I could do Asenas moves. I mean they are that basic. Didem is way better.

well, she is from turkey, and turkish dancers dance different than arabics...so what is the problem? i didnt say she is the best, but you have to admit that she is very good. and she is better in drum solo than classic dance. respect the difference!
I don't know what the hell she's doing. This is not belly dancing, it's more like stretching and the moves are too Western, not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but real Middle Eastern belly dancing is not like that. Plus, she lacks a bottom! LOL. She's too flat.
