I remember this game well, just some great vibes after a dominating performance, however I was unhappy with people saying we would win it, "in 7 at home" when there was one game left to win! Top 3 best defenseman of all time in that list and two of the best two way forwards in the game. That doesn't automatically mean the Wings will win the cup. Columbus will not get anywhere near the cup. I do like that you have hope though. Stick with your team through the tough times and it will feel thousands of times better when they reach success.

Every single time I go to playoff game at the Joe, I get goosebumps when Don't Stop Believing comes on. The anticipation of the "...born and raised in SOUTH DETROIT!" is far beyond anything I've experienced. 20,000 adoring fans all come together at that moment in time, and you realize that you really are all just one big family brought together by the best hockey team in the world, who just so happen to play in the one and only Hockeytown. The Red Wings will forever hold a place in my heart.

Don't Stop Believing was written by Steve Perry born in Hanford CA, Jonathan Cain born in Chicago, Illinois, and Neal Schon on Tinker Air Force Base near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. So they have no clue as to the geographic location of Detroit. But it is still a good song and at least they did think enough of Detroit to put it in the song.

Every single time I go to playoff game at the Joe, I get goosebumps when Don't Stop Believing comes on. The anticipation of the "...born and raised in SOUTH DETROIT!" is far beyond anything I've experienced. 20,000 adoring fans all come together at that moment in time, and you realize that you really are all just one big family brought together by the best hockey team in the world, who just so happen to play in the one and only Hockeytown. The Red Wings will forever hold a place in my heart.

I love the playoffs at the Joe. The atmosphere is amazing. The pre-game show is such a great way to get everybody pumped. I make sure I make it at least one game each series. I cannot wait for this season's playoffs. I have a good feeling Howard will turn it up by then, and we all know Mule loves the playoffs more than anybody. Go Wings.

I'm a Flyers fan, I hate the Penguins, and playing against them in the cup finals, I see why you guys hate Blackhawks fans, so I've sort of become a closet Red Wings fan. Blackhawks fans are bandwagoners, they're assholes, don't know shit about the game. You guys kinda remind me of Flyers fans minus the animosity.
