a couple of people have mentioned the 'lionel blair stare'. 'scuse me but WHAT IS the lb stare?. now come on peeps, it wouldn't wither a fucking pansy (not that i'm casting aspersions..) don't misunderstand me, the guy is ok, but that's the best i can say about him! i LOVE his dancing, in fact i've never laughed so much in my life as when i see him doing the old soft shoe shuffle! but good ol' lb is somehw part of our tv heritage. geez, how old is he.... he's gotta be 95! at least he should be!

he's walking on a downward slope & coupled with the background set it gives the impression that he is getting shorter. possibly deliberately desined that way to give the stage an extra depth...though possibly not given that this is a small end of the pier production.
