i think that this well be a great racing game, the pysics look chunky but controllable, graphics are fantastic. pokemons who scream that we need a street-ricer are morons. look at undercover, it was boring. it was just like with ww2 shooters, it is all used up. grid still is one of the greatest racing games, and i dont mind a customizable grid with deeper career mode and more cars. dont mess up EA! im really hoping that this one will be great.

But for example the Handling in Most Wanted and all other NFS's was that worse that we can only hope that this will become better in Shift.

in mostwanted you were able to tweek the handling on your ride, in start menu, i dont doubt this gamei realy think it will succeed, my only problem is the hero car, like a lambo, dodge, saleen, koeinegsegg, pagani, mercedes, chrysler. out of all the supercars, these companies make they had to pick bmw's, its jst sad man

I hate this arcade style presentation, if they want to call it a sim make a presentation trailer just like GT that captures real racing, this is what lacks all console sim game out there, they all trying to attract to young audience. Here we go again..IT's an arcade game folks. NFS, GRiD, GT...they're all arcade games and always will be. Console racing will never be Sim-Racing. Console racers usually don't race clean either. Mostly kids that want to bash and bang. So for that audience I'm sure NFS-Shift will rock and sell real well.

For a real sim-racing experience get a PC and run rFactor.

Well, while I agree with that general statement, something tells me this might be different since EA has decided to make 2 other games to cater to the arcade crowd. This might be a case of the Sim-Racing scene getting a chance to make something with a huge budget.

@silinalexandr well, for me there is a difference: Grid has extremely more realistic crashes than need for speed shift, but when you see need for speed shift, there is more brightness and things look really with a sharper image and sounds are greater. If both of these differences were combined, a extreme great and awesome game will be created. =)

Well, indeed we had a glimpse of a few things that we haven't seen before, like ranks and levels-ups, but I'm sure they're keeping the best for last, including a new damage system. It just can't be this bad. And I'm very excited about the M3 GT2, it's one of my favorite cars.
