  • those last words, are simply a words of wisdom, words spoken by someone who experienced life, learned about it, tried it and loved it, if we learn more about life, we can change our prospective about it, and so our actions toward it will change, and so happiness will easily flow from inside of us to outside, and so everyone can see it, love it, enjoy it and experience it with us :-)

  • yes!!! nobody is the best , no damien , no ilabaca, no belle, no shade, we are ONE family and too many people they do parkour forget this :((

  • I wanted to see that landing at the end. If the red bull camera guy did parkour I bet he would have moved there quicker. Then again, the fact that he managed to carry it up is an accomplishment within itself.

  • Nice i want to be a part of that team nicee,,,,,,Amazing,,,,

  • i dont know who is the best in parkour but i know that the best song in the world is from Tenacious D.!!!keep rocking

  • omfg i had a dream i was freerunning in a place EXACTLY like this :O

  • holy shit did he REALLY just fall from that height and land it perfectly?

  • 1:50 WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK!?

  • But if you can't determine some skill level in parkour - as u say - it's and art and most people should be respected in their own way. WHY are you then so much in the spotlight?

    You knowledge?

    Your "skill?"

    Or your sext body?

    Why.

  • That was video editing magic at the end for sure. They probably used the bar passing over the screen as the transition between the clip of him climbing down and being on the ground.

  • so how long ago was it when you started parkour/freerunning Ryan?

  • @OShacker252 it was 12 years ago

  • @TeamSilentEcho that is a long time

  • @HSmUiiH the name means nothing just go out there and move =)

  • 1:48 fuck!!! :O

  • My question to you Ryan, is how do I go about Promoting myself?

  • Keep pressing 8 and look at the guy in Black XDD

  • Red bull gives you wings

  • Jeez don't die guys! This is really amazing.

  • man i would love to hang out with Ryan but its unfair that i have to be stuck in my neighborhood I'm a bout to just run all the way to where ever Ryan is Ryaaaaaaannn(no I'm not stalking you)(maybe soon though)

  • keep pressing 6...XD

  • How did you get down that tall structure so fast? Only way I see it, was you jumped.

  • @vfthb098 if u look closely u can see the person isnt ryan, look at the hair as he climbs down its dark brown and has sort of a messy back part

  • @inuysha360 That is Ryan, he's wearing the red bull shirt and also his hair in the video is a bit messy and slightly brownish

  • @vfthb098 sorry its called video editing

  • Comment removed

  • @vfthb098 Or it's been edited.

  • @vfthb098 I can do it ;)

Just somebody wait you down maybe some 0.5 or 1.0 metres! And they pause this video, than he goes down and it was it :P

  • ryan you need to give me a hand at park road haha ;)

  • how did u get down that huge thing so fast?!?!?

  • i love ryan doyle as a traceur..but doesnt he say in the boston video he made that the art of motion is a competetition with the best athletes of parkour...but is this video he says there is no answer to that question?

  • O_o How did you survive that fall? Is it just the magician's secret?

  • Jo Česká Republika ! :)

  • Please song name

  • HOW DID HE GET DOWN THERE SO FUCKING QUICK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • im am happy to see a professional traceur that actually understands what Parkour was created to be and do. it would be a huge honor personaly to meet Ryan Doyle.

  • if you get the chance it would be dope if u could make it to prague for a day or 2 :) im from canada and got transfered to cz (moms job) i know im optimistic but it would be so awesome to train with a god :D

  • so.... red bull does give you wings

  • gotta love bad actors :D

  • Ive seen you in the Focus Gym. at this point I knew what i wanted to do :) Thnx Ray xx hope to see you again!

  • This is Art of movement parkour+3run+acro :D

  • INSPIRATIONAL!!!!!

  • This makes me realize my style is almost pure freerunner. I don't have any martial arts, tricking, gymnastics or any other kind of background. One day I started freerunning and now I'll never stop! <3

  • 1:50 - 1:55 omfg 0.o is this for real?

  • everything looks better in slomo : P

  • Hey Ryan your style is flawless lol I you are a big inspiration to me and my movement through your mentality and your movement hopefully we'll get to to train together someday when I get more confident with my parkour

  • wtf...1'50_1'55

  • I think his signature move is the corkscrew

  • CoOL

  • yow ryan ur 1 of my biggest fan i watch all ur videos jus to learn how to parkour

  • one of my favorite videos of all time, it's really great to see one of the world's finest free runners take a stand on what the art of movement is to him. I love the quotes that come out of this video, it really speaks to me, and I think videos like this are what the parkour community needs more than anything. thanks so much.

  • 1:50 holy fuck

  • real good vid...

    find your own style!

  • Parkour is multiple things at the same time it's one thing. So when you practice parkour, remember that you're doing it for yourself. It's not to prove to someone that you're better, nor it is to follow someone else's style. I think that when you're 6 months into parkour, you will start seeing what I'm trying to say. (continue)

  • @pkLipe But of course, there is a limit in life even though we don't believe in one. Especially with the tricks, where we have a heavy landing, we practically destroy our knees. And this is why some people are against it. I think that's bullcrap. There's such thing called mutation, and it's because of our past generations that our knees are too weak. If the world keeps jumping today, you sons and grandsons are going to be capable for jumping even more, and even bigger heights(continue)

  • @pkLipe Resuming: I like to think of parkour as a failed but successful science experiment. It was created for serious situations, but it became something personal. Lots of people don't understand that and try to limit themselves by sticking to the pure parkour. It's their style I know but some are just trying to stick the "correct" parkour society, it would be the same as if someone told you not to do parkour at all and you won't do it cause you would hurt yourself.(continue)

  • @pkLipe So remember that parkour doesn't have limits. Pass it on to your children. Remember it's for you, there's no right or wrong, there's just his way or my way. And when you understand this you won't need some frenchman telling you to stay in peace, not criticize others or don't show off when you can't even perform well. When you start to understand this, all of these things will come to you by themselves. You will see it for yourself that there's no need for criticism or showing off. Peace.

  • I've always seen Ryan as a completely different tracer from the rest. I haven't heard any philosophies or speeches like his from others, the only one that came close was Daniel Ilabaca's. Although Ilabaca is definitely not so much into tricks as Ryan, but his thinking may be similar. In fact, one of the reasons is probably because I never really see Ryan hanging around with other really well known tracers, unlike Livewire does or Foucan. Ryan is really sort of independent from the rest(continue)

  • @pkLipe And I wonder if it's because he receives criticisms for performing the "wrong" type of parkour. I also don't think that other Tracers are sponsored as Ryan is sponsored by Red Bull. Maybe that's what separates Ryan from the rest. Of course Ryan did show up with Ilabaca at that martial arts TV show on discovery or whatever, but I said before Ilabaca (as far as I heard) respects every type of tracer since parkour is different for every tracer. Now I myself didnt agree with Ryan's(continue)

  • @pkLipe philosophy in the beginning. Parkour had to be kept pure like David wants it to be. And the thing about Ryan is that he obviously does Freerunning but he keeps calling it parkour. Now of course he doesn't lie about parkour, he still explains that the flips and tricks are not important moves of parkour and are more for expressing yourselves. But it seems as if he refuses to call it Freerunning. (continue)

  • @pkLipe It's almost as if instead of calling one person black and another person white, you just call them a human being. There really is no reason to separate the two. Flips in parkour existed way before Freerunning did. Now I know that David brought us all these powers but you gotta admit he's taking some things too much. I think that he's too naive thinking that parkour should be used only in important situations, without anything "extra". Of course that if there's a emergency,(continue)

  • @pkLipe we won't be doing 15 meters of height gainers. But may I ask you guys how much of you actually got in a serious situation where you had to use your parkour skills? We train everyday to get reach perfection in our practice, and of course we then become addicted to this feeling of freedom and performing things that we thought were impossible for us. I think that the real point of parkour is to reach the impossible. Sort of like the matrix if you ask me.(continue)

  • @pkLipe That's what gets us into all these tricks, creating our own style and our own goals. This is why I believe that parkour is for YOU. It's for you to find your true self, to go further in yourself and see what you're capable of, both mentally and physically.

This is why recently I started believing that every person has his own type of parkour. There's really no wrong, no right. No need for name changes, dividing one style from the other.(continue)

  • Great video!! I love the the way you talk. You are very wise and such a great person.

  • is the drop at 1:50 real

  • does redbull really have bull sperm in it?

  • @MrGuywhodoesnothing lol shut up... does coke really have cocaine in? :)~

  • @10055870 it used to, when they first started making it (my health teacher told me that)

  • @10055870 actually coca cola did once contain cocaine in small portions. hence the name "coca" cola. But since cocaine was banned in 20th(before that it was used as a medicine) it was removed from coca cola but the name coca cola still remains to this day

  • @10055870 No, not cocaine but an extract of the coca plant which cocaine is also made from. Note that to make cocaine they have to soak the coca leaves in gasoline amoung other toxic chemicals and have children stomp all over it making their feet look like colyflower. The plant itself has an effect even more mild than coffee when consumed. I will go out and train now......

  • @DINOCHIMP i was being sarcastic but... thank you for that... if anyone wants any drugs... this is definitely the guy :)

  • @DINOCHIMP when you droped off the building how far was it down

  • @DINOCHIMP my bad i was supposed to get it over to doyle

  • @10055870 LOL no ryan, never done drugs in my life. I just like to learn about everything... im actually a professional freerunner like yourself. just starting up in the business though. i live in vanoucer canada and teach parkour here. Im good friends with king... i tihnk you know him ;)

  • @DINOCHIMP thats cool bro, i'll have to come visit you all, are you friends with Jo? asian canadian parkour girl, one of kings friends, she's pretty cool, we hung round loads in LA, i'll see if i can get out there this year :)

  • @10055870 No i never met her but he talks about her all the time. Yeh i was in cali like 6 months of last year and plan on getting down there in the summer for a week or so to see everyone. I was at venice beach on the filming of mtv the second episode. The next day, me arroyo, king, tim and pip went out playing and that was a great day. I still have alot of progressing to do before i get to where you guys are but hopefully im doing the right footsteps. I just play and have fun :)

  • @10055870 YO im your friend on facebook, my name is Chad McDonald... you can send me a message on there. I tried to send you one sometimes but i guess you get too many to read. But yeh man... it would be cool to meet up. There are a few really sick runners out here in vancouver man but ive only been out with them a few times. My schedule only lets me traing solo usually late ate midnight for a few hours or something.

  • @10055870 im sorry ryan but i dont really agree when you say no one is the best traceur cuz i think you are! but yah you cant really say but in my mind ur the best i mean that jumed you pulled off in tis vid.....sick!!!u rock man!

  • @10055870 It did have cocaine when it was invented :) Then cocaine became an illegal drug and they had to stop it...

  • @10055870 it use to, not any more though

  • @10055870 yes in small amounts

  • @10055870 well it used to xD

  • @MrGuywhodoesnothing RedBull - Chuck Norris urine!

  • @MrGuywhodoesnothing It has taurine, which is in bull sperm, but it isn't actually taken from bull sperm...

  • @MrGuywhodoesnothing yes it has a chemical found in bull piss not sperm

  • i need to start work my ass of to do parkour

  • Parkour is #1

  • @itsDeaMan I think I love you...... I'm a free runner yet I still watch all your vids..... for some reason a lot of free runners and traceurs are also call of duty obsessors

  • How the f- did you do that jump at the end?

    I idolize you now.

  • @mAwesome334 Oh my god your a dipshit

  • @mAwesome334 edited

  • Awesome vid and awesome explanation!

  • dude big fan you really inspired me and your tecniques improved my parkour amazingly...really hope we meet=>

  • How did Ryan jump down that height at the end??

  • @intwernet it had to have been edited, there was not enough time for him to fall that far. If there was a little more pause before he was at bottom, he could have quickly gotten down to the bottom part of the metal shit underneath them, and only had to fall like 15ish feet... but there was not enough time for him to do that, or anything else for that matter

  • Ryan is simply the best :)

  • please come to australia.... teach me some stuff!

  • Ryan your a HUGE inspiration to me. Hope we get to train together some day :)

  • You have the best philosophy about parkour I have heard or seen anywhere. Just as simple as that.

  • I started parkour recently in the summer but I never progressed that far because of place to train at. I live on a highway and the only time i can really practice is at a friends house because he lives near a few parks. I've looked around my house so many times but there is nothing I can use to practice. Could anyone give me any tips on how to progress farther in parkour?

  • @TheShadowizz21 look up unconventional training by american parkour.

  • Holy words! and its nice to see you landind double cork after your leg injury. peace from israel!

  • is that drop for real? did you just free fall down successive support beams to slow it til you hit bottom? i want to say it's totally fake but you're also in the process of landing or turning around or something at the end and i believe quite honestly that it's very possible to cover that distance if there are a bunch of horizontal bars on the way down...

  • Freakin!! Awesome video!!! I wish I had a place like that to train.... :( there's no people there.... ahahaha

  • He never made that drop at the end dud he ?

  • @HASTYAZZA It was another guy climbing because you can tell bye the pony tail and Ryan was already at the bottom....

  • Ryan you were my inspiration back then when I was a mother's belly: D

  • @AmateurApprentice dude stfu! Don't be a tool!!!

  • Great stuff! I love your message about the different styles - it's what I've been telling people, too.

  • Damn right

  • Your such an huge inspiration Ryan! Keep up the good work, and keep inspiring! Hope our paths cross one day, so I can get a chance to meet you and train with you.

  • hey man how do you get the locations to practice...

  • ryan we need a liverpool jam an get redbull involved

  • In Czech wow :P nice ;)

  • how the best of parkour? xd

  • @LoneWhiteWolf13 no not really becuase that could have actually happen but it seems like a joke.

  • I wonder if anyone who seriously practices parkour actually drinks Red Bull?

  • @haloboz i do :)... but its free, so i dont think i count :(

  • @10055870 Man I wouldn't mind getting free Red Bull. :D BTW Ry, how's the leg? Does it hurt or anything at all?
