0-2.14: Yesterday at dusk, by the riverbank, someone neared you and signaled at you. Who was she, my lord?
2.14-3:36 : Oh the one who rides on the vicotorious peacock (Lord Karthikeya), when you and she were reciprocating each others interest, whilst you stood there and she was blushing away, I stood right next to that sight.
Guru Jayashree Narayan (or whoever her teacher) is doing something right .....successfully taught Fluidity and eye control (actually facial control) to a young girl that is so often lacking in US when they perform on stage. She does tell her story well ...and doesn't over-do it. It shows that young ones aren't imprisoned by a childhood lack-of-grace....just lack of competent instruction.
her dance is very pure and beautiful. i love this kind of un-flashy starkly moving BN. the guy playing mridangam is unbelievably good. very clean, dry sound to the rythym he was keeping. great video.
Hello Is sirensongsindia the American young lady I met in Chennai at Broadlands a few years back? It's Nick from England. Remember Janet as we sat in that lovely little caff around the corner on the main road, Triplicane?
firstly i love the beautiful skirt costume it suits u very well very unique, ur expresions a exellent, body eye movements and mudra's a very neat well down keep the gud work. this is going to be a strange question but how flexible r u and u don't have 2 answer it if u don't wanna. once agin fantasti performance ohh forgot what is this padam about. thanx
This peice is called "Nateranthy nerathil" a very akward composition depecting a women telling her lover how she saw him with another woman along the banks of the river and is questioning if he is honest to her. yes very awkward indeed. hahahha this girl did this peice very beatifully and i appreciate sirensongsindia for blocking Nangopu! he was not very helpful at all.... newaizz may god bless this girl and hope she continues dance.
Nangopu, your criticism is not constructive. Your tone is extremely accusatory. On the other hand, Indian 2 Dance wrote in with something constructive o say. I am very open to constructive criticism, not accusatory, bossy "don't you think you should do this and that?" You are now blocked from my page. It is my page, not a public forum for random abuse.
You can call Sangeeta (she does not speak good English, though) in Pondy at 9345411420, or call Jayashree (she can explain to you everything in good English) at +91-413-2244325
You have posted the Month and the Year of performance. You have also posted the name of the piece that was performed.Don't you think you forgot an important piece of information? "The name of the artist"
Actually, I didn't list the name of the piece, only the raga, which I recognized - and I don't know the name of the artist - but I wish I did. I found her quite talented. Thanks To In2Dance for proposing a name. It is indeed the Mini Hall at NGS.
Nangopu, I think you are being a bit judgmental in your comments. I am also "a true lover of dance," but in my 2 years of travels have lost the name of the performer.

She is a good dancer, no doubt about that. But there's no need to knock down US dancers in the process. Its irrelevant.
