Mine makes disturbing noises when I brake. Do you get that as well?

@kcwoodfield Yes I do. Seems to be nothing to worry about according to the discussion on Sturmey Archer's Facebook page, so I've learned to ignore it. The brake works very well in spite of the noise.

@2wagondragon I agree. Braking is fine. Feels tight.
Just the noise is really loud.

I'd love a Rohloff though...
Oh, I think I can recommend it. Sturmey Archer has a good record of replacing faulty units, so I wouldn't be afraid of it. It works very well.
