I think I remember reading that it actually wasn't the real set...and Jen knew but didn't say anything. LIke there was a stain or something under the cushion that she was looking for and didn't find.. she's a great sport not to embarrass ellen about it though!

i think the reason it looks smaller is because of the wall they have next to the couch.that wall wasn't there.there's space behind the chair to the right and a door.back there.remember when monica and chandler started sleeping together there was an episode when they do it in that closet.all we see is them coming out as if they did nothing.lol. any way the point is that wall wasn't like that.

@tsfe1 not that I can remember! It was in 2006 when I did the back lot tour at Burbank. They take you in through a empty warehouse at the end of the tour and through the door Ellen and Jen walk through! It was really really tiny! But I got to sit on the couch! A-MAZE-ING.

@stefvipdon yeah the audience laughing and track laughter is part of sitcoms, but if those weren't there that doesn't mean that the people watching it on TV wouldn't laugh. the viewers don't need other people to laugh to signal that something was funny to them. in the movie, they would just take out the pauses and laugh tracks or audience.
