@HelFKiernan ...but being a christian who is standing up for Gay rights is as contradictory as being a Gay person who is fighting against gay rights. You cant simply pick and choose things out of the bible or any other scripture to believe in or not to believe in. You either take it as whole or deem it unworthy as a source for how we should live our lives and be on with it.

I agree with @gskowal Sharpton doesn't even hold a candle to Hitchens. I bet Hitchens is wondering why he has to debate someone that is less than half as intelligent. No one would say the words "quote" and "unquote" around the word wicked. It's speaking Sharpton. All you have to do is give the word some inflection and we understand what you mean. This is as if the 1985 Bears played against my high-school football team. It's just embarrassing, and they are on completely different levels.
