Good job man, keep at it. I really liked the cinematography and editing. Only negatives were the dialogue between the characters and the acting. But keep working at it dude, everything gets better with more experience. You don't need a big budget to make a legit movie. I spent a little over $100 to make a 45 minute movie I wrote/directed titled "Probe" and ended up I winning best film in my cities' film festival against other directors who had a budget that was 50 times mine. Keep making movies!

That was a great short film! Loved the POV aspect of it. I love the stories of how each gorup of people experience the strange visitors. What I didn't like was the ending. It was very depressing, and I know that's the emotion you were trying to convey, but it seemed unfinished to me. I would've liked more background on who the enemies were as well. But otherwise it was a fantastic film!!

I wanted to try a different feel because I normally make people laugh but this time I wanted to make them sad or even cry (Which did happen at the screening of this film!) As to the background of the visitors! I am actually making a full length film called Metric that I plan to start making in 2014 and that is all about the visitors! It explains everything! But I plan to keep it a secret until than!

The cinematography aspect was great. The video effects and all the music. The ambiance, pretty much everything was great EXCEPT for the acting. I mean no offense when I say the acting needs to be better hahaha. I mean there needs to be more RAW EMOTION! other than that a phenomenal piece of work. I hope my short film looks half as nice as this did. What kind of camera and programming did you use might I ask?

@kierasdakota7792 Thanks! We made this film in a little under 2 weeks and didn't have any time for rehearsals for the acting to improve! But I see what your saying. I used a cheap $300 camera (Samsung HMX-H100) and edited in Sony Vegas pro 8.0. Im glad you liked it! Written filmed edited in under 2 weeks! Thanks for the feedback! :)

Hey, I work as a cinematographer on ultra low budget films (under $1 million, over $100,000) I saw your comment about your dream "Metric". 2014 is a pretty unrealistic date for film release if it hasn't even started production yet. Time budgeting is easily the most common mistake among beginner filmmakers. If you need some high end VFX let me know, my company has the lowest rates and quite high quality work as well as a lot of experience with low budget filmmakers.

@BMAnnArbor I have made many films and am very aware of how long it will take me to make a full length film. When I said 2014 i am using that as when i hope to begin production! I worded my sentence wrong. Haha! Not Released in 2014 But be prepared to begin production in 2014. Hope i cleared that up. I should spend around 2 years filming Metric! I have been making films for more than 9 years! Of course my first 4 years sucked! haha!

I used a Samsung HMX-H100 $250 Camcorder (Nothing fancy) I edited the film in Sony Vegas pro 8.0 (Pro 9, and 10 have been released) Metric Is the film that i care about more than anything! It my baby1 So, with that said. I have made the choice to wait until i can acquire the amount of funding needed to create the film. $100,000 - $500,000 is around the budget needed to create Metric. Metric is planned to be released in 2014!

Evacuation is BRILLIANT!!! I have know flippin idea why this only had a hundred views SMDH. I just love that siren it kind of reminded me of War of the world where the tripods made the eerie noises. It was simply amazing mich you really overdid yourself this time, i really like the flashing in the areas where the action was filmed, all the deaths aswell.
