  • I STARTED LITHIUM 90 DAYS AGO SO FAR SO GOOD HOPE ALL IS WELL LIKE HEARING YOUR POSITIVE

  • @djm63401 l started with lithium 7 years ago and l have been well since then....

For me it was a miracle after being sick nearly 20 years

  • It seems a lot of people hate Abilify but it worked for my mood swings. Different strokes. I'm on three meds now including Abilify, but when I started out taking Abilify by itself, it worked. I stopped getting angry at small things and reacting to what I thought were slights by other people.

  • your very good at these personal videos. im also bipolar and use the themes of this illness in my artwork.and believe it, helps.along with flaxseed oil.didnt like the fact that lithium has lead in it. i have tried once, to receive ssdi but was denied. maybe its the fact that im in florida..any way, keep up the great work .may god bless u

  • awesome. I am becoming an art therapist. Super hopeful stuff in this video.

  • BECOME A TEACHER.

  • My shrink said men respond better to lithium than women. I've been on it for two years and it's the only thing that helped. Risperdal and Zyprexa are death and anti depressants are fucking garbage.

  • I will never go back on risperdal... that killed me. Made my depressions much worse.

Lithium works great for me too. Thanks for the video.

  • You look and sound great, glad the lithium's working for you. Actually Abilify is working incredibly well for me, I was surprised because I'd heard a lot of people giving out about it for it failing to work etc.

So cool that everything's going well for you man, congrats!

    Lorcs ;)

  • You sound great. I hope things work out with the job situation. It could change the direction of your life for the better!

  • be careful re jumping at the job because med situations can change. I have bipolar type II and I've been on various different meds over the past 15 years. Nothing has worked as well for me as Lamictal did. I had a great year on it. Then I developed an allergy to it and had to go off it. I may not find as good a med again. I've tried Lithium a couple of times and couldn't tolerate it. (I too am on disability but through my employer here in Canada, not SSDI)

  • I know what you mean. I'm just happy (now) that I have a medication that is functioning. I've been on every single Bipolar disorder medication to date, only because they would stop working after a time. The worst part is that the Lithium works, but doesn't correct my sleep cycle in any way at all. The Seroquel's been acting funny, so now even if I take it at 11:30pm, I'm going to sleep at 4am+. Its really a pain in the ass.

  • Hey man - you're looking and sounding better -keep it up Good Luck

  • Thanks for sharing your experiences. I have biplar disorder and the EXACT same thing happens to me. It's like my brain snaps and my mood just suddenly changes. Maybe I'll try lithium. I'm on Lamictal and Serequel.

  • You are always very informative. I am glad the Lithium is working well.
