very good!!!....do you only paint from photographs? do you also make paintings just from the imagination, without anything to refer to, no photos, no models, nothing (except some preliminary sketches also from the imagination)?

Django, je l'ai peint à l'aquarelle, pendant un trajet en avion ;-) Il doit être sur mon myspace, je l'ai offert à un ami guitariste.

Cool! That was cute. How long did it take you in real time? At least, there is something, that I, too, could do with traditional paint and brush, but it would take me at least one month to make a picture of this size. But when you go digital..that is just magic!

w/ comptrs or not, we drw or paint not merely by our hands or eyes, but it is by the mind, and of how we see things. portraiture is special, in every face there's a different person d goal of a portrait artist is to capture d essence of that being as how we see them, that is achieved by how we see things in detail, like knowing another language and to be articulate at that language in order to express or show a concise meaning or thought, this is divine art

Computer is a great tool. Real paint is great tool. They are both versatile mediums.

Painting/drawing with the computer is like cheating but doing it with a real brush or pencil, is real art to me:)
