The NYX shade sticks are excellent and you can get them at CVS...I also use Sonia Kashuk products...the brushes are AMAZING, the shade sticks and eyeliners are beyond compare...You can find all her products at Target. =] Hope that helps!

ok so a primer makes your eyeshadow stick to the lid so it doesn't crease or fade over the day. and a shadestick is kinda the same but it also intensives the colours and makes it easier to blend in. so you always want to use a shadestick thats colour is near to the eyeshadow you wanna use :)

they are often too long, especially if you're asian.

personally i like the shimmer, but my sister ended up ordering both for her and i swatched my shimmer and her matte & the matte was more pigmented, while the shimmer was mainly frosty and a little less pigmented. it depends if u like glitter or not.

It is the MAC shadestick. She probably bought it either directly from the MAC store or MAC online (or perhaps ebay). MAC does not carry the shadestick in this color anymore. You might want to try a similar product from another brand..
