@4bbc Our duty is to educate the world, and make world a better place for ALL. Our goal is to explore the universe and ask questions, and find answers. We are not satisfied with stupid explanations. I hope you die. And FUCK YOU.
@dontbugit Similarly, if you criticise someone or hate somebody, if the other person remains unaffected and unperturbed,' your criticism and hatred come BACK TO YOU.
Concept of reincarnation is the founding stone of Hindu religion & all other religions that have originated from it such as Budhism, Sikhism, Jainism etc.
In fact there are records which state that Egyptian science & Aristotle learned a lot from Indian mysticysm.
More-over Alexandre actually never came to India as we know it. His army captured Takshila (in Pakistan now) but they all soon lost the control & were defeated by the Chanakya & his followers & aliases. And they returned back to Macedonia.
They were seen as pure enemies by the Bharat state & its people & you never take the culture or thoughts of enemies.
Geeta & Veda states very clearly about reincarnation. Geeta is at least 5000 years old. Alexandra came to india about 2200 years back so how can that influence Hindu religion. (Continued in next Post)
Mr. Edamaraku shud have let the doctor present his arguments. What the Dr. said about psychotherapy is, I think, true. From what the Dr. managed to say, I am guessing he is using the term 'regression' as a theory which he finds to be able to explain his observations.
Of course, there is a need for an objective researcher to take up the issue and publish the results, too. I appreciate Mr.Edamaruku's works.
But then, is it just me, or is he really being clamorous in an attempt to be critical?
personally I have difficulty accepting the idea of reincarnation, it's essentially a faith based belief.
However, I question the assertion that the idea was introduced to India by Alexander the great when the concept (metempsychosis) appears in the Brhadaranyaka Upanishad (7th or 6th century B.C.) It is also central to Buddhist thought (in Pali punabbhava) and has been from the outset.
Again the Indian T.V hosts are always annoying
