I was in Clearwater the end of April this yr and there was a crazy thunder storm then! the lightening was just like this non stop and it went on for hours. it was so scary. We was right on the water and with every strike the whole harbour lit up. We don't get bad storms like this in the UK. it was so fascinating but also really frightening. I love storms but that was a whole different story, never in all the years I've been going to Florida have I seen a storm that bad.

Excellent video...big time....I love all of these unedited loud Tstorms with continuous lightning like this one you got here form 6/23/09...How I wish all such YouTubed-loud Tstorms were all raw-footaged, unedited, and all LIVE...these such videos I always aim for...24/7/365-ly. BTW..I too have some impressive Tstorm videos....my 7/28/89-Tstorm video's got lotsa nice bolts and GREAT thunder.....also..my 6/26/02 and 7/18/06-Tstorms --both have tons of lightning..please enjoy~and comment.

Uh. That looks bad. Like producing tornadoes kind of bad. I'm from Kansas and our thunderstorms usually don't look that bad. Do you guys have a lot of tornadoes in Florida? I know they do in other parts of the south like Texas, Okalhoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. DAMN!!! BAD ASS WEATHER!!!

we have a few tornadoes, nothing like the ones in Kansas though, those are fierce! We actualy have more waterspouts that are just cool to watch, dont cause much damage. This storm did cause alot of minor damage & spawned a few tornadoes. I was just happy I didnt get struck....LOL

I lived in Pensacola, FL and they have a lot of supercell storms that come down from out Mississippi and west From Texas. I know how that feels.
