Maybe so, what else could explain it. As long as tethering is free I'm fine but I'm afraid that they will start tracking down the phones who downloaded this once they come out with monthly paid tethering.
Well, they can't charge us unless they warn us beforehand. So I believe it's unlikely to happen that they can force us to pay any money for tethering that was used before a tethering service gets available with a specific charge.
I got 1021kbps download speed and 224kbps upload speed with my iPhone 3G S via bluetooth.

Yah..I found that too. Yesterday, I actually measured almost 2Mbps! Would it be attributed to iPhone OS 3.0.1??
