@brian261103 Some of the Beast Wars voice actors also worked on Armada. Scott McNeil (Jetfire), Don Brown (Demolishor) and Colin Murdoch (Cyclonus) had previously worked on BW.

Most notably, Garry Chalk and David Kaye voiced Beast Wars Optimus Primal and Megatron, and returned for Armada/Energon/Cybertron Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Not everyone who worked on Beast Wars came back for Armada. And not everybody in Armada was previously on Beast Wars.

Have him join them not out of any sense of goodness but rather out of his hatred for Megatron.

An alliance by way of a common enemy.

And after Megatrone falls, well we'll cross that bridge when they come to it.

They sort of did that in this series, all the way through his ark, the only reason he joined the Abots was because he wants to take down Megatron and feels that's the best way.

Although, I will say that I like Starscream's sense of 'honour' in this series, a lot like Dinobot in Beast Wars, except they took their time getting Starscream onto the good guy's side as apposed to having it happen five minutes in.
