Try to avoid babbling....I like this video and I'm going to try it, but I kept getting distracted, because it seemed like you were too. But either way, good job :)
omg!! I have a naturally straight hair too and I've always straightened it anyways because I have so many layers that I get all these awkward kinks -.- I'm totally going to try this!
@LiVvVie1 i'm sure it will. Whenever i let my hair air dry, it always gets frizzy and throughout my movements, my straight hair gets wavy and weird and hairs stick out of place. blowdrying my hair like this keeps it fully straight and tame. besides, its obviously straight because i blowdried it like in the video! =)
good video but of course it only takes ten minutes... you have super thin hair and its already pretty straight. Try having thick curly hair and blow drying it straight. It takes like 45 minutes and 10 plus with the straightening iron.
You don't really need to blow-dry your hair. it looked pretty straight already when it was partially dry. and Asians always have awesome hair anyways too!!
what if your a guy? because i cant towel dry my hair like u girls do it. and i dont want to straighten it because it gets fkn frizzy lol someone plz help schools starts in a couple of days!
@computernlyrics I put it close to the brush but dont touch it usually. sometimes i have the blowdryer sort of laying against the brush because my arm gets tired easily lol
i position the blowdryer upclose with the brush so that the heat focuses on the section of hair in the brush
Thanks for uploading this! I will try it today haha
The only thing, I have thick frizzy curly hair and I'm pretty sure I will have to touch up the top layer and back with my straightener, but the blowdrying will definatly help! :D
@XxskittlesX3 a couple of my friends who have naturally curly hair blow dry their hair and it gets pretty straight for curly hair. they dont have to us a straightner to a full extent.
@mooncake21 you don't have to apply the straight guard. you can replace it with your leave-in conditioner (if your hair isnt too naturally curly) or frizz-control product. The straight guard just keeps it straight and anti-frizz
for me, anyway. it could act differently on different people.
@cattyclai277983 you can get them both at local drug stores. Definitely target, walmart, kroger, and walgreens. Sometimes if you're lucky, you can get the straight guard at tjmax for 7-8 dollars.
@cubefreak217 i do have naturally straight hair if i dont touch it or stand a certain way when its still drying, but if i play with it/lay down/press my hair against anything while damp, it wont stay straight. and i hate that.
wow, i luve the vid. thxs for posting it. btw, your lucky you havenaturally straight hair, i get my hair from my GRANDNMA on my moms side of the family with is naturally PUFFY. i dnt mind having thick hair but i rreally hate have puffy hair. so thats why every morning while i wait for my breakfast, i dry my hair on the fan(cold) becuase im not allowed to yuse the blow dryer on school dayas cause i live far. lol, sorry for the long comment.,
@rinni300 then you could air dry and straighten it with a flat iron cause even when natural straight hair is blow dried straight its gets waveyish/puffy after you sleep
One question..., is it absolutly necessary to ably that straight cream thing?? I don't apply any chemical like things to my hair so I just want to know:)
It's not absolutely necessary, I just like to do so to keep my hair from really frizzing and such. I'm pretty positive you could do this without the straight cream
I got them in the front of my face to the side that i wanted and let them air dry straight foward so it covers my left eye. once they're dry, i push them to the side.
a couple questions: do you put the blow dryer directly on your hair when you are drying it, or keep it a little bit above the hair? and how do you dry your bangs?
Okay, so I just timed myself. I started the clock from parting my hair (getting my bangs up front, parting my hair) and applying heat protection spray before separating my hair into three layers. That was at 3:55pm. I stopped the timer once I finished applying Chi Straight Guard. The timer stopped at 4:06pm. So it took my about ten minutes to do =)
guys, this actually really does work ;p i have curly/wavy hair (not even close to straight) and if I dry it like that, it's pretty straight :D haha.
