Playing with a click definitely shows commitment to your craft. A friend of mine is a personal trainer at the gym. He said that once a year he himself works out with one for a week so he can concentrate on his form. I know people who play to a click track live. Depends on what you're going for. It's music, and there's no wrong or rights.
