Can someone help, I did what it said to fix corefoundation failed error, but it didn't work, I'm stuck, is there any other way I could edit the assistant file, another program? PLEASEEE, that's all I need to do now!
That's the crappy thing. Ubuntu must ALWAYS be running for this to constantly work... Until now, I haven't figured out how to setup a VPN to connect to SiriProxy from 3G.
DO NOT. I say DO NOT ! do this, if ur using this and apple catch you, apple will register your 4S UDID on their blacklist and siri wont work to you anymore !
Nothing is done to the 4S except installing a wifi certificate and changing the DNS address. So anytime you wanna disconnect, just switch back to the original DNS and you're done. Same thing with the iPhone 4. Even the jailbreak isn't permanent. I've exchanged a previously jailbroken iPhone 4 with a new one from Apple under warranty. If you reinstall a clean iOS TWICE (some things may be left over after the first time) even then you're good!
Hey... my ubuntu keeps saying that rvmsudo is not installed... when its impossible cuz i already did all the steps, i rebooted my pc and tried to start up siri again using rvmsudo... and when i try to install it, it says e:unable to locate package rvmsudo... AHHHHHHHHHH
What do you mean your iPhone says you have problem. What does it say?
Did you try "test siri proxy" with a iPhone 4S? If so, did it work okay with the 4S? If yes, then once you test it with the 4S and it works, then wait a few minutes (very mportant) then test the iphone 4... If it did not work with the iphone 4S, then what is your ubuntu machine doing when you try to use siri on the 4S?
Yeah, absolutely. You just need the win7 to access and edit a couple files on the iphone (using WinSCP) so you can definitely do it on a separate machine...
@alifiz1996 ubuntu can be installed using any windows (including vista). Best way in imo, is to boot from the ubuntu cd or usb stick, use the partition manager, and creat a partition dedicated to Ubuntu... Then install ubuntu from within (as opposed to signing out and doing it from windows)..good luck!
Ubuntu installation isn't difficult at all, but if you can't install Ubuntu (not even by running parallels in MAC) then I think you're out of luck because SiriProxy was made to run on Ubuntu. Perhaps it'll work on a different Linux machine (ex. Linux Mint) but I guess if you can't install Ubuntu then you probably can't install any linux.
Untill a siriproxy solution for Windows becomes available, I'm not so sure there are many other options. If you figure it out, please share!

so you need two iphones , 4 and 4s and both have to be JBroken ?
grogtgs 3 weeks ago
@grogtgs Only the iPhone 4 must be jailbroken. The 4S does not...
You just email the wifi certificate to the 4S and install it (you can do this for any secure wifi connection).

@TheNemexisProduction
1. Not true. Keys can only be blacklisted if MANY people are running on on UDID (not from a mere 2 phones) Some people use Siri much more than others.
2. Blacklisted UDID is not permanent (for legal reasons), you can go to sirihacks . net slash tag slash blacklist and see the article...

Parallel or dual boot. There probably is a way, but I personally don't own a mac so I haven't researched it...

@ELICIT23 before you say rvmsudo, you need to say "cd SiriProxy" which calls on the proper directory, then proceed with the rvmsudo...
