This is the point, we added or son to the policy ad dental or vision, I am not sure but the over all cost went down, from our policy w/only us on it. So once again it depends,,, huh?
Well, I think only the people who have Anthem Blue Cross individual insurance policies were targeted for this rate hike, so you and your family may not have been effected by it, but I and many others were.
Excuse me but our insurance went down in price! We live in California, I am disabled with a broke back and my wife works. Our insurance from Etna to Blue Cross saved us money! The next thing all should know, Waxman is smoke and mirrors. The hype of high insurance is as soundless and hollow as the big sex offender trash he is trying to push.
@Keither9 You are so full of crap... wake up. Its only a matter of time before your rates will increase. In fact, go re-read your policy, even the fine print. You might be saving more per month, but your out lay will be more if you need the care, physical therapy, etc.
I don't have Aetna, so I don't know what their current policies and premiums are, but Anthem Blue Cross has increased the premiums of single members who hold an insurance policy through them. As I mentioned, my premiums were raised by a total of approx. $80. Someone I recently spoke with said that the combination of premium increases and coverage reduction has equaled a nearly $300 increase (increased premiums + increased copays) for her this year alone.
