  • i think your reading it wrong. Not only in times of winter or famine means you can eat meat other times too.

  • @efrasier1989

"should not be used, only in times of winter, or of cold, or famine"

    The meaning is clear.

It is also clear that most active members of the church do not obey this scripture. My bishop and others have twisted the obvious meaning of these verses beyond recognition as a rationalization.

  • thank you for the video. its a pet peeve of mine that Mormons put themselves on the pedestal of moral uprightness and nit pick about tea and coffee, and every church function with food is loaded with dead animal sacrifices out of no true need. AND the prophet is weak sauce, joseph smith ran for president totally radical dude, then afterwards, they just say they're prophets but totally lose the radical TRUTH, and conform to cultural norms out of convenience and fear of confrontation. rastafari

  • To give another perspective, here are the same verses from the RLDS version of the D&C thich is numbered section 86 .2b "Yea, flesh also, of beasts and of the fowls of the air, I, the Lord, hath ordained for the use of man, with thanksgiving. Nevertheless, they are to be used sparingly; and it is pleasing unto me that they should not be used only in times of winter, or of cold, or famine." Not the change of meaning caused by a simple coma.

  • Romans 14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

  • There is such thing as a mormon vegan. LOL I am one. Guess I'm pretty different than most, but hey, we're all just different people. :)

  • Mormonism is an all meat religion. raw red bloody. Mormonism's fruit is the Mountain Meadows Massacre.

  • @IExposeMormonism No, the Mormons' fruit is the Book of Mormon. It's the cornerstone of the LDS religion.

  • @TheWinterWaterSong No, the binding force is the D&C. The BofM is a history story, the D&C is used to bind you to the hierarchy. It and the Endowment ceremony and it's oaths result is Morgbotism. A compulsion to obedience without a reflective consciousness and conscience. In full blown form resulting in the Mountain Meadows Massacre, the fruit of Mormonism.

  • @IExposeMormonism The D&C is the Docterine and Covenants. While it does add more different details to how the LDS church is run, the BOM is what the LDS church reads more then any other scripture. In fact, they read the New Testament more then D&C, mostly because the younger members find it long and boring. So, yeah. Book of Mormon is what holds the religion together. Destroy the BOM and you destroy the D&C but in all honesty I really like the message that the BOM gives, so we I'm cool with it.

  • @TheWinterWaterSong What's holding the Mormon religion together is denial and lies. The BofM is a story. The Doctrine and Covenants means just what it says. Add in the Endowment ceremony and it's oaths and you have the true meaning of BINDING someone to an external theocratic despotic tyranny.

  • @IExposeMormonism Junior must have skipped this Biblical verse while he was writing the Word of MORON Wisdumb. Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:

  • TYPICAL HYPOCRITS...

  • 1) Joseph was certainly influenced by his ancestors. I don't recall which side of the family, but one, possibly 2 of his ancestors were on the Mayflower. These Mayflower Puritans lived a higher moral code that turned them into a group of self righteous bigots. This bigotry led to Josephs great aunt being hung as a Witch at Salem Mass. Smiths Puritanism resurfaces in Josephs "word of wisdom". Would the eternal God of Israel approve of self righteous, pious finger pointing like the Mormons do?

  • 2) Col 2:16 Let NO MAN therefore JUDGE you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the SABBATH [days]: 18. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind. 20 /////, ye, (Mormons are) subject to ordinances, 21 Touch not; taste not; handle not; (cuz Joseph Smith is not allowing any coffee drinkers in the Moron KINGDUMB)

  • @awolLDSasap or like what you do?
