  • so i have this dynex 24 inch tv and one of the ceramic capacitors burnt on the power supply board (where it connects to the power inverter board) and the value of the capacitor reads 10j 6kv the question is since i can't find this capacitor anywhere (ebay, mouser, etc) can i replace such capacitor with a 20j 6kv? the tv works fine with out it,thank you in advance.

  • My LCD Tv has areas of the screen that are slightly darker than others. I returned the first model for the same problem and now it's happening again but in different areas. It happens over a period of months. Does the liquid crystal dry up or something? Maybe some florescent bulbs are failing in the back lighting. The dark areas are not symmetrical either, just random shapes that develop over time.

  • @CraigTube Sounds like a possible back light problem. Since it's still working you might want to test the polypropylene capacitors on the inverter board if it has any. Sometimes they go bad and will make the TV back light weaker than it should be. Of course you could also plug in an external CCFL driver just to test the back light, and make sure your transformers are okay.

  • 1:21 IS MY PROBLEM... SOMETIMES MY HOME SCREEN DOS'NT APPEAR AT ALL!!! NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY VIDEO CARD... IS IT?

  • I have a sharp 60" led LCD tv with red vertical line on left side of screen. Any suggestions?

  • i get fuzzy fonts on my lcd tv when i connect via hdmi from my pc, pictures are clear but not fonts, on vga connection everything is clear....

  • Great videos, thanks! I have a 17 inch LG LCD tv, picture appears to have bad interference like a poor signal through all the TV/video ports (tried various locations in the house, too) but when hooked to a PC, it works great as a monitor. No issue with the audio at all. I turned off my wireless in case of interference. I am using satelite cable boxes. Can you point me in the right direction?

  • @BRS8509 Can I assume you tried a different signal source into those inputs which are

giving you interference on your display?

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs I've attached a DVD player to the video inputs and other satelite boxes from varioius locations in the house. Display is wavy, rolling, with varying degrees of viewabilty. If display is perfect as PC, shouldn't be an LCD ribbon issue or power supply? My thought is what's used in video/TV in as opposed to PC in, the Tconn? Thanks for you thoughts!

  • @BRS8509 I can't understand your question?

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs Sorry, just troubleshooting in my mind.

If the display is perfect when the PC port is used, that should eliminate bad screen or ribbon connections?

What is different between the PC port to the screen process from the TV/video ports to screen that allows a good PC port picture but not from the TV?

  • @BRS8509 I uploaded a short video of the TV display to my channel if that is accessible.

  • Dave,

I have a Sanyo DP46848. When my LCD TV is cold it has half black screen on either sides of the TV,but if you hit the TV the screen clears for a few minutes, it will half screen again and if you hit it it goes away.Once the TV plays for 30-45 minutes, the problem ceases completely. This problem has become worse the longer I own the TV,a year ago the screen would only go half black for 1 minute, then stop. I replaced the T-Con board in the unit and it did not fix the issue. Any suggestions???

  • @jdcrase It might be a light or an inverter Problem. If your inverter board has any electrolytic or Polypropylene capacitors you might want to test them and see if they are

    off value.

  • Hi i have a vizio 55inch with a yellow line vertically down the middle of the screen. I unplugged the tcon board and the line is there but white. Is this a bad panel? or perhaps the signal board or bonding?

  • Dave, I have a 40" RCA LCD TV. It's about 2 1/2 years old. Almost a year ago it started to get a dark (or shaded) spot in the lower right corner. It becomes more noticeable during some scenes and less during others depending on the colors being shown. Any ideas? Some kind of dust build up perhaps? I hate to purchase a new TV. Thanks in advance.

  • @mrtalbot81 Perhpas one of the CCFLs isn't lighting up properly due to an inverter problem or perhaps a lamp problem but this is just a guess.

    Dave

  • i have toshiba 20 inch tv everything is working sound is working but picture is a bit fuzzy you can just about read the writing on the tv so what should i do to fix it or if i go to a sho how long will it take to fix?

  • Never mind found it. I'll let you know if it was helpful.

  • I went to the site but don't have the vaguest idea how to search for that #. Is there anyway you can just send me a direct link.

  • If you go to my website at TV REPAIR INFO . COM you should find a video or Two on Vizio TVs that might help you. Here is a video that might help. watch?v=y9gmAxRXyT0

  • Hi Dave,

Odd problem. Have a Vizio Vo42l fhdtv10a flat screen LCD. Was working fine. Went away for 2 days, when I came back I went to turn it on and all I got was a black screen with sound. I tried other ports same problem. The amber light lights when it is plugged in and changes white when I turn on the power. ( so 5 vdc is ok) how can I troubleshoot to determine on what board the problem is. PS, inverter, or main.

  • Also, I forgot. My problem is replicated across different sources and cable types.

  • I have a sharp lcd unit that is intermittently displaying a red/magenta, single pixel, vertical, top to bottom line that varies in intensity. Sometimes it is fairly faint, and others it is very bright but ALWAYS the same column of pixels. I have read many sites and forums. I am getting a mixed result from these. Some say that the lcd panel is defective, and others say it is probably a tcon. I build pcs on a regular basis, so I am not afraid to get into the guts if it is the tcon. Any ideas?

  • Dave...you da' MAN !! Thanks for your service to Youtube, and our town.

  • Dave I am hoping you have some ideas. I have an APEX LCD 4688 I bought Xmas 2010 that just went out (1year and 1 month after purchase, hmmmm). The power indicator light at the bottom right of the TV is on but there is no sound or picture. Apex is now owned by another company and the rep was not surprised of the problem but could not tell me what was wrong, he was also chuckling during the conversation at points which indicated a very common issue and no solution. Fixable or paperweight?

  • @520littlebit I can't say if your TV is repairable, but did you try some of the tests I show on my website at TV REPAIR INFO . COM ?

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs Hello, I just got a problem with my LCD TV, the image turned into negative like a photo. It shows black white red and blue, the sound is still working. The TV is 5yrs old and wondering if I can fix the problem my self other wise I just buy a new one. Any idea what the problem can be?

    Thanks :)

  • Anyone know of any videos explaining how to replace a Tcon board on a Westinghouse sk-32h590D or similiar TV? I could really use some help. Just orderd the replacement part and should have it in the next couple of days. I've done computer repair in the past and I'm pretty sure I can do this but a video would be nice so I know what to touch and what not to touch on the TV. I've left it unplugged for almost a month now so I'm sure it doesn't have a charge in it.

  • 1.52 is the problem i got on a tv i got for 5£ on ebay :)

  • i kicked the shit out the door and got a new tv :) lol

  • Hi Dave,

I have a Samsung 5271f and is showing a double image like what you presented in your video. Can this be fix?

  • @jackeroo75 I can't say if it can be fixed but it sounds like it could be a bad display.

  • Hi Dave, I have a Samsung 5271F and noticed my display is showing a double image like what you have shown us in your video. Does this mean I need a new panel?

  • Wow. I'm having the exact problem as pictured at 1:26 on a 2-year old Sony KDL52S4100. Only intermittent though, and it goes away for a while if the TV is power cycled. Wondering what needs to be done at this point.

  • Hi Dave, I have a 52 in lcd and it was working fine until I plugging an HDMI cable for my Droid x and the tv started to turn on and off so I unplugged the HDMI cable and turn the TV back on but only a click and no picture do you have an idea on what is wrong? model # Phillips 52pfl7403d f7

  • Im looking for a power supply board model # JSK3220-007B for an RCA LCD it finally gave out on me and I can't afford a new TV I googled around a little and I can't seem to find one one any suggestions?

  • Hello Dave, I have a Vizio VW46L and the left side of the TV is black. I used to hit the back a few times and that would usually fix it. Then what that fix stopped working, I would have to wait about a half hour after turning on my TV for it to go back to normal. Then I would have to hit it a few times to "fix" it. Now no reasonable amount of waiting of hitting fixes the TV. Any ideas?

  • Hello, I have a Sylvania 6020 lcd tv that is 5 years old. Recently I noticed several squares that are filled with dots and flash on and off. They appear in the top half of the display and seem to be coordinated with the color of the picture presently shown on the television. They are usually black, white and one other color from the background. Is it time for a new tv?

  • @nancyyac1 I don't recognize your symptom but If you got 5 years out of an LCD TV you did good.

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs can you check my video? my RCA LCD TV picture is bad, i did replace the Video Board and the problem persisted. watch?v=C-G840dfJR4&feature=g-upl&context=G22dd0bdAUAAAAAAAAAA

  • The problem I see a lot with LCD TVs/monitors that I find thrown out in my neighborhood is this:

It tries to fade ON, dimly, maybe discolored, over 3 seconds, then goes black. Any guesses? Thanks!!

  • @okolepuka808

    2-3 seconds approx.

  • hi dave,

I have a RCA 32 LCD that all of a sudden last night started exhibiting a "whiteout" that looks almost identical to the problem in this guy's video (FFWD 2 minutes in)- watch?v=TrOVfeTb-qc

i've disassembled and saw no visibly bad caps, reseated lvds cables from main board to t-con board, with no result. after turning on the TV starts whiting out in about 2 seconds, even when cold.

suspecting t-con board, but would like your thoughts. thanks!

  • @paradoxb3

Does tapping the TV help? What about the freeze spray technique on the display edges or applying some heat to the circuit board with hair dryer? How are the voltages going to the T-con board? Did you reseat the ribbon cables on the T-con board?

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs tapping around doesnt help any. i havent tried any freeze spray, and actually havent heard of that... nor applying heat to the components, and didnt have a volt/ohm meter when i disassembled it. i did reseat/wiggle ribbon cables as well as the t-con with no effect.

  • Hi Dave,

I don't have any lines on my tv screen. I have bad colors. They are very light. Would you know what it might be?

  • Hi Dave, I have Philips 47" 47PFL7642 LCD, having vertical thin blue lines ,I have called the repair shop he said its your display and nothing he can do, I have opened the back cover and wiggled the connections but nothing happened still the same problem any ideas please ?

  • Hey Dave, I have a Vizio P42HDTV10A and experienced the "death pop". The screen went black, but the power light stayed green. I have seen fixes such as change a fuse, condensers, replace the x and y boards. I want to fix the tv, but i am trying not to spend too much money. Thank you in advance for your help.

  • hi

  • Hi Dave, I have a 26" dell plasma. Now when i turn it on it is fine for like 10 seconds and then it starts getting lines popping up in no random order and the remote or controls on the tv quit working. the longer it stays on the worse the picture becomes and sometimes it just turns it self off after i turn it on. tried to get a tv repair place to look at it they said they wouldn't because dell does not distribute parts. was hoping you might know what is wrong or what could check out thanks

  • @boyslip Because you say it also disables the remote control from working I would wonder if the power supply has a problem. Did you test the caps?

  • I have an lcd acer monitor that has like a bunch of evenly spaced shaded lines contstantly moving down the screen the higer i set the refresh rate the faster it goes 60hz seems to be be still too high but thats most slowest speed for the lines to move across the screen reminds me of the old tvs that are slightly outta tune or when you had the tv goin with the vcr interferring with ya reception

  • @ribbit90 Doesn't sound like anything I recognize, but if you figure it out please let me know.

    Dave

  • I'm not sure. Does it look as though the problem could be related to one of your back lights going bad?

  • Hi Dave Ihave a philips 42 pfl 7403d lcd tv i get dark clouds on the side of my tv and are more noticeable when my tv plays white signal any idea what might be wrong

    Thank you in advence

  • Hi Dave. I have a Philips 190S lcd monitor. Recently its been incessantly flashing one of four things from the moment there is a signal: 'monitor controls locked', the monitor setup menu, the monitor setup menu with all its functions flashing one after another and/or the brightness menu pushing upwards (if I press the down arrow button to bring the brightness level down, it goes back up). Otherwise the monitor is perfect. The constant flashing is annoying and distracting. Please advise.

  • @feanor123456789 I find your question to difficult to understand

  • @IITheReaperII If you go to my website at tvrepairinfo I have an index of my youtube videos

where you might pick up some additional troubleshooting tips, but nothing more comes to mind about your particular symptom other than what I suggested it could be in the video.

  • I have an LCD. The picture is just fine, but it only runs for about on an hour and half to two hours (varies). If I turn it back on after it shuts off I may get 5 or 10 minutes after that.

The weird thing this is... if my my cable box is turned off, there is no input signal... the tv stays on. I've yet to see it shut off. Any idea what this could be?

  • @TrevX2001 What make and model TV is it?

  • Hi Dave. My problem is my 47 in LCD tv is split right down the center of the display. The color on the left side of the screen is perfect. The color on the right side of the screen is not HD. The two sides are visibly off.

  • @joxter1970 Sorry but I don't know what would do that.

  • I have a 47lg50-ua tv. The keeps tv turns on and off. I took the back off tv and unplug the top ribbon to the screen and the tv turns on, I used remote to mute and turn it off works fine. I could here the sound but of course no picture since the ribbon was off. i plugged in the ribbon again and it went back to just turn off and on

  • I have a samsung that has sound but no picture.

  • @johnmonreal0617 I have an Olevia 237-T11 doing the same thing. I would love to know what it is. Sometimes, I can get the picture fine so it's intermittent.

  • Hey, can I send in a video of a problem with my LG LCD?

  • i got this lcd tv insignia that it turns on normal then the blacklight goes but you could still see the image!...you think is the inverter???

  • @xxsurcentralxx It sure sounds like an inverter problem.

  • I would start by seeing if your T-con board has power going to it. You should be able to measure

about 12 volts on the fuse that feeds it. If you had an oscilloscope you could see if there is activity on the output side of the T-con board, but what ever you do be careful. The T-con board is very static sensitive and can be easily damaged.

  • I have an Emerson LC320EMXF that quit after lightning struck the cable pole outside. It's got a bright white screen with audio, but no picture and no visible response from the Menu button. I have replaced the TCom board with a used unit (twice) but the problem persists. I'm fluent in automotive electronics, I have a multimeter and I can read a wiring diagram; Is there a test for a TCom board? Is there something else I should suspect? Please help! Thanks.

  • I have a Panasonic LCD Plasma tv. I have tried adjusting everything I can but the colors do not come out right. Something that should be pink or red looks blue or purple. The overall color quality seems to be off. What could be causing this?

  • Hi Service Masters.. :)

What is wrong? What to see, after disassembly?

This LCD panel can be wrong?, or just electronics?

    Help me..

Look at tha picture, my monitor:

    kepfeltoltes.hu/111208/samsungt240_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg

  • @istvanredei I would suggest you at least try to re-seat your ribbon cables going to your display, Just becareful you don't damage them in the process.

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs Hi LCD Master, I took apart the monitor. I re plug the cables in the monitor. The error persists. However, I noticed a brown stain on the middle of a power supply module. The power supply module failure can cause this error? Thanks the answer!

  • Tripple check for Bulging capacitors, use good lighting to check for small Bulging. replace if need to.

These can cause on/off breakup of picture.

    Normally on the Power supply

  • In picture c, with the streaks on edge. For me it was a bad VGA cable, there was a short somewhere near to the ferrite bead of the cable. Whenever I moved the cable or twist it, the streaks would get longer or just disappear.

  • @yoko174 Sometimes moving a cable to recreate the symptom can be misleading since moving the cable may flex the whole circuit board.

  • hi ive got a Samsung Syncmaster 933 18.5 inches and i have the picture C problem, is any way to fix it, its out of warranty, thanks for yout time

  • @ipv13 You might try some of the suggestions I mentioned such as re-seating a loose ribbon cable or repairing a bad solder connection on the circuit board. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to guess at your problem. Did you watch my videos on TV REPAIR INFO . COM ?

  • hi i just received a t-con board, kdl52w4100 part.n : 1-857-132-11 , 404652ASNC6LV3.7, LJ94-02254F .unforchantly problem still remains , the new board is used but maybe its broken ! or could it be something else? i hope you can help me too.thanks.

  • @xakyboy What was your symptom that made you think it was the T-con board?

  • CRT and Rear Projection Big screen TV last longer than LCD and Plasma TV.

  • Hi Dave, Great informational videos. I'm working on a toshiba model:40RF350U. At first, lines appeared on the left side of the screen with multiple colors. I removed all the boards just and put it back just to make sure if there's a loose contact on the connectors connection. It solved tehe problem, but a 3" solid white lines now appeared on the leftmost of the screen. I've tried spraying but doesn't help. Thanks and more power.

  • Hello dave, thanks alot for the videos....I have a rca l42fhd37yx8 in which the screen is dark grey when powering on..It has no sound or menu screen..I have replaced the t-con board, power supply and video board and still the same problem. When the tv is open i can see the backlight lighting up but still no menu or sound or nothing on the screen...please help

  • @shaun334 I don't know what's causing your problem. Did you check out Mikes TV case histories to see if any technicians have seen this symptom?

  • Hi dave, i have a sylvania lcd and the left third of the tv is grey, the other 2 thirds work fine, any tips on were to start. I havent seen any similar issues here.

  • Hello sir I hope you can help us, we have a Polaroid FLM-3232 that recently went out on us, it was in the shop earlier due to it went totally out "a popping sound then picture collapsed to a dot", they rigged up something and were talking about the "tuner board" when I pulled it apart it appeared to me that in the supply one of the transformers was hot and bubbly looking. Now its out again the picture turned green with lines, and the blue led and power wouldn't go off, pulled the plug on it!

  • Hi Dave i have a Philips lcd tv 42pfl 7403 d on white screen when i use the tv as a computer screen i get darker cloud like shapes on right of screen and stripe like clouds on left of screen not so noticeable when i watch tv program any idea what the problem could be?

  • hi dave.. i seem to have the problem which is associated with picture C and it goes away after i hit the montior few times either on the back or the side.. what needs to be fixed.. i guess its kind of loose connection inside.. yr help is greatly appreciated.

  • @jack7309 I can't say for sure but try the freeze spray trick on the edges of the LCD display and see if the problem temporarily clears up.

  • Hi!. I have a 52" Samsung LCD LN52A550. it stopped working at 16 months and out of warranty. I have sound and with the lights out, I can see a dim white light on the screen. The only thing I have done is look at the capacitors and they look fine. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • I've got this Polaroid flat screen but there's a big issue with it because its picture turns off but the audio keeps going with the tv show it would really help me out if you could tell me what's wrong with it please reply thank you

  • Hi Dave

I have Philips 37 Inch Tv which is giving cyan colour in no signal mode as it was giving Blue early which is normal and all over picture RED channel is missing only this

is the fault any guss thx.

  • Hello Dave!

  • another contribution:

be really careful with JVC LCD and plasma TVs. They have a light sensor on the mainboard (looks like a LED with a foam ring around it). THAT'S A BOOBIETRAP!

if you plug the set in with the sensor exposed to light, it will erase it's firmware and thus, destroy itself!!

ALWAYS cover this sensor when you need to work on these before plugging them in. If you don't, you'll brick it and need a new mainboard (or reflash the firmware, which is pretty much impossible to get)

  • oh and to contribute at least a little bit, if one half of the screen has a very slow response time (the image kinda sticks and it's blurry), and the LCD panel is manufactured by Chi Mei, it's almost guaranteed to be a T-Con board problem.

    damn chinese junk panels..

but at least it's rather easy to fix (plug & play if you wanna call it that)

  • Any ideas for a Samsung LCD TV (LE40A536 (40")) which constantly restarts after about 15seconds?

i've replaced all the caps on the PSU board with Panasonic FM/FR series and some borderline SMD caps on the mainboard (high-ish ESR), but the problem remains.

the tv works perfectly fine within those 15secs that it stays on.

    i'm kinda lost here :(

thought this would be an easy one (the usually samsung crap cap pest).. but apparently, it isn't.. damnit.. just my luck.

  • My tv its a lcd sony bravia 46 and I barely today I saw the green line from top to bottom like your #8 picture you put in your video. What do I need to do, pls help out

  • Hi, I replaced the t-con board to my sony KDL52Z5100 but still persists the dark cloud on the left side of the panel, any idea what else can I try ??

  • @superodro73 I haven't seen the picture problem but do you suppose one of your back lights is out or perhaps an inverter board driver problem?

Displays go bad but most of the time this causes a distorted picture, double images, unwanted color bars or lines.

a dark segment of the picture sounds like a possible back light problem.

  • I have a video in youtube ( Failure tv sony kdl52z5100 ) if you can take a look on it I really apreciate, if the problem is the back light can I fix it ??

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs ,I have a video in youtube ( Failure tv sony kdl52z5100 ) if you can take a look on it I really apreciate, if the problem is the back light can I fix it ??

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs , I just update the video, if you can´t find it, try Falla TV sony kdl52z5100,

    Thanks

  • I have an LCD TV if I switch it on, the TV will come on, there will be a perfect picture for a minute, then it goes off. Every time I switch it on, it comes on, but goes off quicker each time, the Status light on the front remains blue (ON) I have to go to standby, and then press a channel for it to come back on. Yesterday, out of the blue, it started working again, but then after I switched it off last night, this mornining when I went to switch it on again, the same thing occurs. Any ideas?

  • @shaolinfingajab sounds like either bad capacitors on the powersupply board or the CCFLs (backlight tubes ; sort of like miniature flourecent lamps) are worn out, and the inverter (generating the high voltage for them) turns off because they draw too much current (safety feature so it doesn't burn up the inverter).

listen at the back of the tv (vents) for hissing or rather loud sqealing sounds (usually bad caps).

if the picture has a red/pink-ish tint when the set is still cold, it's the CCFLs

  • @Knaeckebrotsaege Yea I forgot to mention the kind of gentle squeeling sound actually lol spot on discription! lol I opened the back not long after I wrote this last post, and looked at the inverter board as I thought it could be that, 2 of the caps seem to be raised slightly more than the rest. It is going to cost me 85 pounds to repair, if they can find a new part, as it is not a major brand. I think I need to buy some circuit board and components and learn to solder lol ty for the reply :)

  • @shaolinfingajab little tip: go to the badcaps . net forums and ask around there. Lots of people to help you out (not just with bad caps.. also soldering, where to get parts, examples of bad caps, list of good quality brand caps etc.)

Don't forget about the powersupply board.. that's usually the first thing where caps go bad (due to heat). When they fail, they don't filter the voltages properly, causing strange problems and it may cause caps futher down the road (inverter) to go bad as well..

  • @Knaeckebrotsaege I did a little research on caps a few days ago, and saw that there has been a "plague" of bad caps on the market for the last 4 of 5 years. If I can get the TV working, it will be a nice result, It is a 37 inch 1080p and was given to me by a friend, in the box lol

Thanks for the help bud, I will definately go to those forums, I have 2 old laptops here I can practice on too, they only need USB and power sockets welding back on where they snapped, besides that they work fine.

  • @shaolinfingajab as for practicing how to solder..

a ~30W soldering iron with rosin/flux core solder (preferably not the lead-free crap) is perfectly fine for this kinda stuff. No need for 100W soldering guns (you would just do more damage with that much heat).

If you can, grab some scrap electronics to practice replacing components on. old computer power supplies, alarm clock radios, or even new prototyping boards from ebay (for example item number 290541039228 (paste into ebay search)) ;)

  • @Knaeckebrotsaege Nice one, thanks bud :)

  • @Knaeckebrotsaege I have a 32in Element and the TV had half the screen with a pinkish color but still worked about a week ago I have no picture. Do you know what maybe wrong with this and what I need to do to fix it myself?

  • Hi ,i have an envision en7100si that went out,i used to have to turn it on and off for quite a while for it to come on,bad cap, well the last time i turned it on it looks kinda like picture I it does have a little color but is really bright pinkish grey,i replaced the bad cap on the power supply board,so it does stay on now but has that color brightness issue,do you think it is another bad cap on the power board? they all look good

  • HEY DAVE:

My 46" samsung LCD starts having horizontal flickering lines across the panel after 10 mins. or so of being on. I noticed that lightly taping the display or sides of panel it moves the lines to different positions and makes it worse sometimes or gets 90% rid of the lines. ANY IDEAS TO WHAT IT COULD BE THANKS FOR THE HELP TO ANYONE WHO COMMENTS ON THIS

  • hey dave i am realy new to this but this is what i have a sharp lc-32sb23u lcd tv my brother tried to update the firmware. now the tv only has a green led that stays on no picture no sound. since this was working and was a firmware issue i am thinking its in the mainboard because of the eprom on the board your thoughts will realy be great thanks.

  • @jtdunn68 It sounds like your brother installed corrupted firmware. Sometimes the latest firmware can cause problems. It sounds like it damaged the main board.

It's suggested you never install the latest firmware unless the TV has a problem.

  • I have a 32" Dynex LCD - Has sound but no picture.....all outputs on the power supply test good, the surface mount fuses and transformers on the inverter board test ok. I can see a faint picture when placing a light in front of the screen. What's my next move?

  • @gorr35 Even though your fuse on the inverter board is Okay it doesn't mean there isn't a problem.

Do you have the 24 volts on your inverter from the power supply?

  • @GrantsPassTVRepairs : Yes all voltages from the power supply test good....24v from power supply to inverter test at 24.2

  • @gorr35
