Hey Phil, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I used 2 kick mics on this one and blended them for a fatter sound.

Actually, you are only the 2nd person to ask that question. People rip the rock band files from the game and you can separate each instrument...kinda cool. So, if it is on the game, you can find the vocal track for it. Fun to play with. I did Pearl Jam - Alive like this as well. I just take out the old drums and guitar and put the "new and improved" ones in!

Hey Stan, glad it sounded professional to you! It was fun to mix. I actually found Billy's vocal track online, so I just blended it with our instruments.

Well, for starters you could get an all-in-one recording system but computers seem to be the way to go these days. My friend has a Tascam US-1641 that serves him well. It is a $300 USB unit that gets you 8 inputs and recording software that comes with it. Then you can layer as many instruments as you want!

Nice to see some light in that room! Ha. Some nicely chosen angle shots, I need to get some of those lighting effects. Kit sounded really good, no soundreplacer, yet cymbal bleed sounds minimal, kick was nice and dense, less clicky but still stood out. Seeing as your going away for a while, I'll think I'll have to babysit your cymbals while you're gone.

Yeah, I wish that I had the camera tilted down a little more to see the snare drum. I didn't realize it at the time. Ha, you're not the first to lay claim to my equipment! One of my neighbors wants all of my microphones while I'm gone...I don't think so! But if you were withing a few hundred miles I'd trust you with them!
