Great season. Made the step up from crappy motherwell, who is the equivalent of a team in the Australian league, to being the top goalscorer at a CL team. Gone from not being able to get into the Aussie NT to now being our best striker in terms of club performances. Now its time to move on from Celtic to a Euro team in the EPL like Everton or Blackburn and start performing for Australia.
Everton or Blackburn would be a step down from Celtic. He's going to get great Champions League experience with Celtic. I think he should stay and grow in Celtic for a while, but soon enough he could be playing in a team like Liverpool, Fiorentina or Bavarian Munchen.
it wasnt his first goal, but it was a late winner against gretna. he ran upto the fans and celebrated. he DIDNT make contact with the crowd, but for some reason, the referee booked him.
Im pretty sure it's just cos like the ref told him to get back to keep playing but he kept on celebrating. so time wasting i guess. bit of a bullshit call
well both his parents are scottish mate, and he ahs a scottish passport he just chose to play for australia instead of scotland.. so he still is one of you ;)
