if your over level 10 just do the nocternal quest and get the skeleton key(the immortal lockpick XD)

hey i know how to do the quest but i ran out of lockpicks any idea were i can get them?

You know how to start the theives guild? during the first mission there you can buy lockpicks.

Try looking in mining caves that troll are around, or by killing on the road bandits.If you still cant find any i found a cave that has some vampires that are carring lock picks are just do the unbreakable lockpick quest at lvl 10.If you want to cave name just ask me ill load my game and tell you how to get there, fogot how to get there at the moment

i play it on ps3 and im grand champion of arena no codes and i have full umbra got it in lvl 1 if you dont believe me i will post a video

why woulden't I? you can get Umbra whenever you want, don't have to start the quest. But feel free to post a video none the less;)
