  • Hey where's Wally?

  • @GliTterGoDesS72 Tony Dow is wally :D

  • lol. This show was fail. They should have left it alone and let the great original show live on in re-runs and not butcher it with this abortion.

  • the visuals bear a striking resemblance to In Living Color.

Gotta love the 80's! Starting to make the 70's look fashionable.

  • Weeknights 6:30pm on WWOR 9

  • IIRC, this was in the same block with the TBS/Arthur Co. originals "Down To Earth", "Safe At Home", and "Rocky Road".

  • it stinks of the 80's.

  • @Anarchist86ed

Maybe because it WAS in the 80s, sherlock

  • @Trance1972 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you don't say? I had no idea.

    Dipshit.

  • wasnt a young mohammad otta in this show ?

  • I can't believe this. And this ran for 4 years? jeez.

  • This show jumped the shark when Beaver's son, Eddie's son and their friend are in the school washroom and spontaneously break into a choreographed song and dance about the new girl in school.

  • "Am I really lower than Charles Nelson Riley?"

    lol.

  • This was one of the shows that meant a lot to me growing up (the original show that is) but I think it was great they did a sequel. A lot crap on the air today shows that are very cynical which is their way of trying to be cool, but most suck. The wonder years was an exception to the Family show genre that was entertaining without being

vulgar or cynical. The people that like shows like Rosanne (rosanne barr)

appeal to cynical people that are generally not happy people

  • Was that the same house ?

  • Man, I was always so happy when that show was over.

  • @Blackboilingrobotoil Why did you watch it then?

  • @bobbollu Because it was on TV.

  • That wasn't 80's at all. :P

  • Weekdays on your DVD Player

  • "Work all day with Beave and then come home to you, peh."

    Al Bundy lol.

  • @incrediblehulkmovies great example of a low life show, the one with Al Bundy(forgot the name)

  • @bobbollu Low life? If you're suggesting Married with Children is low life than you have no sense of humor at all and I pitty you for it sir.

  • some things are better left un-remade

  • @652ndkennard true. that or revival of the series decades later. make a shitty sequel(s) trying to cash in on the success of the origional or make up the loss for the first one thinking 2 will be better. I agree with ya remakes suck so much ass. very rare do I ever like one. if they want to do a revival it needs to be a spin off extension of the older series well written minor change while using a fresh formula like focusing on the grown up kids and their family from a previous show

  • @652ndkennard ya wanna talk about one remake I never got into was Land of the Lost from the 90's. I swear entertainment sucks these days overpriced remakes galore. music that's about as enjoyable as a root canal. and as bad as TV is today I'd kill for repeats of any past show that ever sucked over a 90210 or Melrose Place remake. if Hermans Head (only if the office chicks are fine) or other shows is remade I'm throwing out my TIVO suscribing to Netflix for like on Roku & never watch TV again

  • Wow, I never thought this would be on youtube. I used to watch this when I was little. Crazy

  • tony plow!

  • Man did the 80's suck! How I hate remembering them! Argh the saxophone!!!!!!

  • RIP Barbara Billingsley (1915~2010)

  • i remeber this on wwor back in the day never wondred why on earth I watched it lmao

  • Great Intro I love this intro.

  • i want this on dvd

  • im only 29 but i still watched these in reruns in the early nineties....and the original was a great show along with andy griffith, father knows best and of course i love lucy....even though i have not seen this show in years and i heard june died, call me crazy but its like a distant relative has died....i hope that makes sense

  • Can't believe that old bat is dead.

  • @tryithere , we'll remember that when your dead...

gezz how disrespectfull can you get. nice to know you care so little about people weither you know them or not.

  • @tryithere I just wish somebody just snap yuor neck dumbass!

  • Can't believe that old bat is still alive.

  • @tryithere Not anymore...

  • @incrediblehulkmovies June is reunited with Ward at last.

  • What a piece of shit show. It is very sad and what is even sadder is that I used to watch it!

  • it's ok but the original leave it to beaver is better

  • I used to love this show when I was a little girl! I wonder if it is or will it ever come out on DVD.

  • is this a different verson of the theme song from leave it to beaver or a different theme all together?

  • OMGosh! I totally used to watch this!!! I'm 27 dang it LOL anyway The episode I remember the most is when kelly got a bra LOL remember that episode you guys?!?!?!?!!? Let me know where I can find all the episode.

  • @ExtremumXymosis I used to have a crush on Kelly!

  • Save for the first bit of the show, this was the only good TV spinoff ever made.

  • @raddaluigi Your wrong it's not the only good spinoff ever made.

  • VERY SAD

  • i never even knew there was a new leave it to beaver, i just happened to stumble upon this completely by accident. i hope i can find episodes and i hope its not as "goddy 2 shoes" as the old version.

  • @slydawg221 , well the original series was made during the 60's and it was a good show, back then with any show your not going to see the stuff you see in todays TV shows.. i don't consider it goody 2 shoes as you call it. it was a good show back then regardless of if you grew up during that time or seen it in reruns.

  • naw this show sucked. and i'm not base'n this of a u-tube clip. i remember see'n this when it 1st came out. this show was crap jus like when they tried to redo a 90's version of tha Addams family. that show was horrible too. leave tha originals as ORIGINALS

  • @omen74 This show reallllly sucked out loud like a dying mackeral gasping for air on a rotted wood pier.

  • I remember watching this, how long did this show last?

  • As a video editor, stuff like this is a guilty pleasure. You've got all the horrible design elements of the late 80s: Cornball jazzy intro, a title with gradients, horrible color clashes, and very, very ugly backgrounds. Wonderful!

  • lol I used to watch this!

  • I read that RHI acquired the Qintex holdings a couple of years ago, so there's a chance we may see this on DVD someday. Whatsmore, I read yesterday that Shout! Factory has acquired DVD rights to the original 'LITB' series and will be releasing THE COMPLETE SERIES (no joke) on June 15, 2010, and that many extras are in the works. Who knows, maybe that will at least include the "Still the Beaver" movie! And YES, this was a great series that greatly complemented the original show...no question!!!

  • @thewvnetwork Start saving your money.

  • My favorite episode is where June flashes back to meeting Ward at a USO during the war.

  • I watched all 4 seasons and it was a good show. There were returns of characters Judy Hensler, Larry Mondello, Tuey and Mary Ellen Rogers. The focus was on the kids, not the original cast. Don't judge the show from one short youtube clip.

  • I would loooooooooooove to know why people watch video's of shit they don't like while leaving negative feed. I mean, I'm all fr their right to support their 1st ammendment, but why do they bother wasting their time if they don't like something? Does it really make any sense? Heres the part where I'll set back, adjust my lazy boy, click on some old school shit, and wit for the attacks of criticism to come rollin on in.

  • @GatorsNation Thank you Gator nation for some sanity. One genius wrote that he was so glad when this show was over. Then why do you watch it idiot!

    T.

  • I used to watch this...so long ago

  • It ran for 4 seasons so it must have not been that bad.

  • Jez I remember this they had a few of the original cast playing parts in this too

  • What year did this come out

  • 1988.

  • another 1? wow

  • it'z on vhs.

  • I have one of these on tape still!

  • Is it on betamax?

  • If Universal had known what was going to happen to Qintex, I think they would've kept the master tapes for the show and we'd probably have the show on DVD right now. As such, it probably won't happen now unless things can get straightened out in the courts.

  • Does anyone have a clip of the intro in which they use an a capella version of the theme?

  • This was the first time I saw Gionvanni Ribisi. He played the boyfriend of Wally's daughter.

  • this version had it's charms but the original was FAR superior. I agree not having Hugh Beaumont around was sad but I think June, Wally and the Beav did a fine job parenting the kids and depensing Ward's sage like advice. Plus it was great to see Barbara Billingsley have such a busy career in the 80's with this show and the mega successful "Muppet babies" where she was the voice of nanny!

  • of course this show failed. a 40 year old man still being called beaver!!!

  • I must agree. What grown ass man still calls himself BEAVER?!

  • Well, it be kind of silly to call the series The New Leave It To THEODORE, wouldnt it? Some childhood nicknames never seems to leave a person and in Beav's case, once Beaver -ALWAYS Beaver.

  • Comment removed

  • The show didn't fail. It ran for 4 seasons and produced 100 episodes.

  • No doubt. This show rocked.

  • C'mon, Retro Television Network (RTN)! AIR THIS! Kaleena Kiff use to rock my socks. And so did John Snee.

  • LOL, I used to run a little web site dedicated tho the New Leave it to Beaver, the first and only. I used to have such a huge crush on Kaleena Kiff. Hey if anyone remembers it, message me, I'd like to hear from you!

  • I think I went to your site once or twice to see if there were any updates on Kaleena Kiff or something on the show re-airing at all. Shame they dont air this anymore. This ruled back in junior high.

  • yeah i hope they put this on dvd one day. i think she works on short films now, which is funny because that's what i'm doing too. anyway just look her up on youtube.

  • Did Qintex gone completely bankrupt?

  • Responces anybody?

  • Yes, Qintex went bankrupt.

  • "This is also the reason why the series may never be released on DVD."

Hopefully, there will be a day when this great show is on DVD.

  • Where is Ward??

  • Hugh Beaumost died in 1982. I would have loved to see him on the show. The family would have been complete. It feels like big empty space without Ward on this show.

  • I miss this show!! Thanks for posting this :)

  • That is the weirdest Universal jingle i've heard! Nice find!

  • I remember that show. It was originally called "Still the Beaver" on the Disney Channel back in the 80's, but it was renamed "The New Leave It to Beaver", but I remember seeing that show on WWOR-TV (channel 9) back in the late 80's.

I remember the Universal TV logo music played on a synthesizer which was kinda weird, but it was rare, and the Qunitex logo with the voiceover added was kinda interesting. I missed watching it on WWOR-TV, but it was bad, stick with the original version.

  • lol r u kidding me

  • How awful!

  • Back in the 80's (& part of the early 90's), I loved this show. I wish TVLand would play these.

  • This makes me want to cry

  • The show's title is also called "Still The Beaver" and I agree with some the other comments, that Universal TV jingle is very odd-sounding.

PS: Been looking for that Qintex logo, too, thanks.

  • haha wtf, this was so long ago and yet it's the new Leave it to beaver, this is too weird, i can't see any other family taking the place of the origional Leave it to Beaver cast. How many seasons did this version get anyone know?

  • This is the same cast.

  • How about that Qintex Production logo with voiceover?

  • Yep! The colorized "McHale's Navy" does have the same logo with no voiceover where it says "Quintex Entertainment".

  • Thanks for posting this! I remember like it was yesterday how the Universal logo was 100% synthesizer -- no brass, no strings, no kettle drum; just a solo artist knocking out the five notes on a keyboard. Tres cheesy, but that was the trend back then.

  • That Universal-TV jingle at the end is rather unusual sounding.
