  • thank you so much ive been wondering how to do that

  • can you help me?? i want to learn how to finish my line. i mean what are you going to do after ur last row

  • @kojlolustiasHLUB you have to do what is called binding off. I would try to explain it but it's really hard to type it out. I'm almost positive there's a tutorial for it, though.

  • OR INSTEAD OF HAVING TO CUT A CARDBOARD, YOU CAN JUST USE A CD CASE. THE WIDTH.

  • Oh, thank you! Great video =)

  • Will this work for a shawl/scarf knitted on a knitting loom? Assuming it does, thanks so much for posting! The instructions for my shawl said to attach fringe but did not say how, I couldn't figure it out! Thanks again! :)

  • Thank-you! It doesn't seem so difficult now :D

  • I just got a great stocking hat pattern from knittingpatternoftheday (.) com and Grandma Nutt is adorable!

  • What is the point of having the text over the video? A little difficult to see what you're doing when the directions are covering up the whole screen.

  • i use a latch hook to do this its real fast.

  • Thanks!

  • Oh, this is just like hooking a rug!

  • if you wanted a 4 inch fringe, wouldn't you cut a 4 inch cardboard because you are going to fold it in half anyway? you will end up with 8 inch pieces of yarn after you cut them off the cardboard that you fold in half, right?

  • 11 inches is what i would use for 4" fringe (or 5-1/2" cardboard). this assumes an inch will be used in the tie off, and leaves 5" strings which will be uneven so you can cut them to 4" exactly.

  • @undeniablycheryl Yes! You are correct.

  • @undeniablycheryl Yes, she ended up with 2-inch fringe.

  • hey

thanks for the great visual explanation. i've been wondering how the hell i'm going to add the fringe...well done.

  • That's awesome! Your instructions are great - I love that I can actually see what you're doing. I can't understand patterns, to have an upclose view with explanation helps a lot. Thank you!!

  • Thank you so much! loved the tip about the cardboard
