@kojlolustiasHLUB you have to do what is called binding off. I would try to explain it but it's really hard to type it out. I'm almost positive there's a tutorial for it, though.
Will this work for a shawl/scarf knitted on a knitting loom? Assuming it does, thanks so much for posting! The instructions for my shawl said to attach fringe but did not say how, I couldn't figure it out! Thanks again! :)
What is the point of having the text over the video? A little difficult to see what you're doing when the directions are covering up the whole screen.
if you wanted a 4 inch fringe, wouldn't you cut a 4 inch cardboard because you are going to fold it in half anyway? you will end up with 8 inch pieces of yarn after you cut them off the cardboard that you fold in half, right?
11 inches is what i would use for 4" fringe (or 5-1/2" cardboard). this assumes an inch will be used in the tie off, and leaves 5" strings which will be uneven so you can cut them to 4" exactly.
That's awesome! Your instructions are great - I love that I can actually see what you're doing. I can't understand patterns, to have an upclose view with explanation helps a lot. Thank you!!
thank you so much ive been wondering how to do that

OR INSTEAD OF HAVING TO CUT A CARDBOARD, YOU CAN JUST USE A CD CASE. THE WIDTH.
