Okay, I apologize in advance because I'm sure I sound like a prick. I know Ocelot is a video game character and therefore not subject to the laws of realistic physics, and maybe I'm just not used to seeing real people try it, but you looked really stiff and uncomfortable the whole time you were doing that. And Ocelot's revolvers were larger, but aside from the added weight (and therefore added difficulty), that's mostly an aesthetic complaint. Good job nonetheless.

Can anyone give me some advice on spinning a very large frame revolver.

Like a 586, it's a Ruger Super Hawk.

I can spin backwards ok.. not super fast..

I feel because the gun is so big i have to change the way your finger is, and put it out straight, more risk of dropping the gun..

actually, a couple of the basics could be used to get the drop on someone i suppose. but no, this stuff was never used in actual fights. it was a way for vaqueros to kill time and entertain themselves around the campfire. like juggling or ribbon dancing, but manly.

o.O people...if you use toy guns its actually alot harder to spin due to the lack of weight. Also to the people saying he would shoot himself..the single action army cannot shoot unless the hammer is cocked manualy first...so lay off the guy he is...Pretty good XD

Actually toy revolvers are alot easier to spin due to the fact that they are lighter than a real revolver. I do this all the time at my house with real revolvers and its fun. Its definitly an American tradition people should keep alive.

If the gun is plastic or on the lighter side then it should be easy but the heaver it is the harder it is. To do it you need pull up as you start to spin the gun because your fighting gravity. it took me awhile just gotta keep practicing it and youll get it.
