I live in Canada, too! *High five* I started watching your videos bcuz I became extremely interested in the language after listening to so much kpop and watching kdramas, I just thought it would be awesome to be able to understand and speak it fluently :) Thanks so much for all your help!
Thanks for all your videos, I've been learning Korean for less than a year, and it is so hard but I love it so much and I think that you can speak very well for learning it in such a short amount of time, so...yeah...very inspiring, and thanks again!
Wow it's really great to know that you know how to speak Korean....really I want to learn Korean, so I'm also learning Korean like crazy and visit Korea one day... Really you're getting good at it and just practice. :) Thanx for the video :) I really think I couldn't understand what you where saying in some things not because of the quality but about the words and all of that. I did catch some of the words like "dongsaeng", "hanguk" and some others. Great Job!
Wow are you not korean?! And you learnt all by yourself? Lol I'm guessing from all these comments. You're really inspiring cause I always tell myself I want to learn another language but never put the effort in. But now I really want to do it this time :) thanks x
LOL No, I had a lot of help from my friends a textbook. Yes, it does take a lot of effort, but I found it was sooo worth it! You should do it! If you like Korean, check out my channel, there's lots of good stuff for people learning Korean. Thanks for watching!
@KoreanSimplyPut arww thats so cool that your friends helped you and stuff! haha thanks...yeah i watched one ad it seemed like WELL helpful! haha...you explain so much thanks for all the videos :) x i subscribed ;)
@KoreanSimplyPut arww thats so cool that your friends helped you and stuff! :) yeah i watched one of them and then it led me to this, so yeah they are like well helpful, you have alot of detail comared to other ones i've watched. Thanks for all of the videos btw :D
와우! 진짜 잘 했여요! I'm starting my major in Korean at university later this year. Your video has really inspired me, thanks! :) Your channel is super-useful, too.
By the way, I do think that Korean is in fact more useful than Japanese. A lot of foreigners speak Japanese; very few people speak decent Korean. Plus, South Korea has a huge economy and North Korea's political situation makes knowing the language a very sought-after quality for Western governments!
YOU'RE MAJORING IN KOREAN! That is so cool. I love the language. Yeah, Korea's huge economy just keeps growing rapidly too. I don't get why there is such a huge fascination with Japanese and so little for Korean LOL. :D I am glad you like the channel! Thanks for watching and commenting!
cool, you seem pretty far along. Iam also learning korean at the moment, but can only understand the gist of a conversation, and not even close to holding up a conversation.
Yeah I was like that for a while, you get better the more you practice speaking. But if you know enough words, and enough grammar (and you know it to the point you can speak without thinking), you're good. It just takes... a lot.. of practice :D.
Thanks for watching! If you have any questions about grammar, feel free to send me a message on YouTube or comment.
Thanks! I'll try that... It's kinda become a habit for me LOL. Thanks for the advice :D
Nice! Yeah, if at any time you see something that you think could be better, comment or send me a message! I really appreciate it when people give me feedback.
I present the language in a way I wish I had learned it... So many weeks not knowing where to go next LOL.
So this is you! =) Really grateful and appreciative of the extensive amount of effort u've put in to all those online tutorials u've posted up for people like me who are interested in the Korean language. It's really impressive considering that ure a non native speaker. =) Keep up the good work! Just wanna say that I've learnt a lot from your tutorials, and I wanna thank you so much for that.
and thanks for watching! :D I'm glad you're liking it and finding it useful. If you have ANY questions too, feel free to send me a message or comment when I don't make sense in my videos! I tend to do that... :D
I learned from friends at first, then when they invited me to come to Korea with them, I bought a few books and studied like crazy. It paid off because I could almost understand everything they were saying :).
haha yes!! it's really encouraging to see foreigners learning Korean ;D
wow... how long were you in Korea for?
that's great and probably the best way to encourage your proficiency in the language~~
if you ever need help with Korean, please don't hesitate to ask. Even though my Korean isn't as fluent as native speakers as I've grown up in diferent countries.. I can try to help ^.^
I was only there for 2 weeks D: I am determined to spend at least a year in Korea for university. I was with my Korean friends and their families, I met so many ppl and I can't wait to see them again!
Thanks! That's really nice of you! Hope your holidays are going well!
I like both as well, I just don't have much Japanese friends at all... My friends had a lot of fun teaching me, they're the reasons why I kept going when I wanted to stop because I was so confused. I love Korean intonation too! It's so much more entertaining than Japanese. Especially whining!
Your name is Adam, right? I would write it 에덤. I'll try to make a response in Korean but my Korean is way worse than yours. I didn't understand most of what you said. I'm working on it but I'm going to Seoul June 2010 and I'll be taking language classes.
That's alright, just try to see how you can speak, I'm sure you're not bad. That's awesome! Try a before and after to see how you improved after the classes. That'll be an experience!
wahaha at 1:35 u had to speak english :D i totally get u, dude and its great u made this vid! once i get a better grasp of the language ill make a response (or i make a big fool of myself) haha
김치 먹고 십어요. 그리고 한극 가고 십어. but i might get to go with my friends at the end of the year.
Please tell me if something is wrong with this 감사합니다

You have a really good accent and pronunciation in Korean. It's very understandable and pleasant to hear I must say.
Just try not to use "~요" form for every sentence. Sounds rather unnatural to my ear.
Lastly, I think it would be better if you say "봐주셔서 감사합니다". :)
