  • I've seen 3 or 4 of these over here, 2 of them were Red war bonnets that were marked BNSF and this was the 3rd. I also got a blue and yellow war bonnet still marked Santa Fe (SD40-2).

    Thanks for the comment!

  • your welcome! but why are NS trains using BNSF's former Santa Fe engines?

  • Probably just a power swap kinda thing, so they don't have to change them out in route.

  • Agreement! :)

  • Thats what I call sweet power!

  • Definitely very diverse 4 sure! Thanks!

  • Of course. It like when I caught CP MRL and INDR all on one train!

  • Excellent catch! I love the horn. Tanks for posting!

  • Too bad it's not in HQ, I had the camera set wrong, the other 3 from this day and from now on...are. Thanks for the comment!

  • AMAZING VIDEO! That is a golden lashup, not a single ugly duckling GEVO or Dash-9 in sight! That is spectacular Leslie RS3L action! The dynamics sound awesome as well, WONDERFUL VIDEO! My favorite from you!

  • Thank you very much! I appreciate it!

  • 5*****

  • Thanks! Wish I had gotten this in HQ!

  • Awesome video! I loved that horn action from the Conrail unit. I've always thought that they have cool horns. And the warbonnet was a sweet catch also! Not too many of those left.

  • See my other 3 videos from this day? They're in HQ!

  • Yep. 5* on all of em. Great lookin too!

  • nice catch!

  • Thanks!

  • Great shot, glad to see BNSF get down there every now and then.

  • Did you notice it said 'Santa Fe' and I couldn't make out the road number on it, even in person.

  • Yup. We get alot of those Warbonets down here alot.

  • What model engine do you think that is? I'll add it to the description.

  • Cant tel, looks like the one in front of it.

  • The one in front of it is blue! lol. I didn't think BNSF had C40-8W's, I was thinking C44 or something like that?

  • I know it is blue, I think it might be the same type. You are probably right though, I think it is a C-44.
