Nice, they were moving through your town quick lol Love those Conrails can't get enough of them and the horn, haven't seen A Santa Fe in forever. cool
I've seen 3 or 4 of these over here, 2 of them were Red war bonnets that were marked BNSF and this was the 3rd. I also got a blue and yellow war bonnet still marked Santa Fe (SD40-2).
AMAZING VIDEO! That is a golden lashup, not a single ugly duckling GEVO or Dash-9 in sight! That is spectacular Leslie RS3L action! The dynamics sound awesome as well, WONDERFUL VIDEO! My favorite from you!
Awesome video! I loved that horn action from the Conrail unit. I've always thought that they have cool horns. And the warbonnet was a sweet catch also! Not too many of those left.
Beautiful! I have always dreamed of seeing a santa fe and co rail together for myself

your welcome! but why are NS trains using BNSF's former Santa Fe engines?
BNSF9250 3 years ago
Probably just a power swap kinda thing, so they don't have to change them out in route.

Agreement! :)

Did you notice it said 'Santa Fe' and I couldn't make out the road number on it, even in person.
DJGENEX71 3 years ago
Yup. We get alot of those Warbonets down here alot.
SF3751 3 years ago
What model engine do you think that is? I'll add it to the description.
DJGENEX71 3 years ago
Cant tel, looks like the one in front of it.
SF3751 3 years ago
The one in front of it is blue! lol. I didn't think BNSF had C40-8W's, I was thinking C44 or something like that?
DJGENEX71 3 years ago
I know it is blue, I think it might be the same type. You are probably right though, I think it is a C-44.
