good video! you just blew my mind. a couple of weird things when i follow the same procedure: i can't double click the entries as you have to change the name. it simply won't let me do it. i've tried using option, ctrl, etc clicks and nothing works. perhaps the more annoying thing is that when i go to record these automations, the behavior becomes very strange and not all the control changes are recorded. it only does this when more than one control is being recorded at once.
@goldenhelix err, nevermind about the last bit about strange recording behavior. i solved that problem. still would like to know why i can't double click to change the names.
One note: at 2:49 you're setting up generic remote (instead of quick controls), which is essential for getting the most out of your hw-controls.
However, I still miss the QC-presets available from the inspector: I'd like to leave the device setup alone after the first round of assigning all the hw-controls, and then have track specific qc-presets to be applied in the inspector. There must be reasons for not having them implemented...

how do you set up the MPD32 controller to work properly in cubase 6. I can't make the MPD 32 record button operate in Cubase.
