@fuckmrmind: "Computer Engineer" meaning hardware, meaning electronic circuts. Why wouldnt he need a BreadBoard, Multi-Meter, Oscilloscope and Digitial Soldering iron?
Def. Not the average day, i work in IT but ive seen that portion...
is the computer engineering degree worth it?? i mean like looking at it, theres alot of people going for that and im guessing that there isnt going to many open jobs

Ugh the video was a joke. He had to go in to work on a Saturday to get something done that needed to be shipped right away. So, instead of sitting at home by myself I went with him. After being bored for a minute I decided to make this video. This is very much not what it is like in a typical day of a computer engineer, obviously. But as a typical day is Monday through Friday, I'm obviously unable to film that.
@mostinterestingman28 Yes although many programmers spend their lives learning these languages and half have to take up a different career, that and you get these idiots who take the jobs from others who can do a better job than some.
@Ichvyenichalster gotcha...which one would you say is a harder major?...and over all pays more? You like ur job?....I'm actually debating on either computer science or engineering degree atm...sry for my irrational comment earlier
@Shanongao Well there are so many different jobs one could go into that it varies, but in general since computer engineering is a combination of computer science (software) and electrical engineering (hardware) it is a harder major in a sense, but you should also note that a major like computer science goes much more in depth on a research level. So really the main debate you're facing is between researching and discovering new things, or applying those things to create a certain product.
@Shanongao I ran out of space but to add on, I think that the engineering side is better if you're a creative problem solver, and the science side is better for critical thinking or what have you. Either way, you might end up learning more overall with computer engineering. In terms of pay, it really does vary, but the scientists do often get paid more than the engineers, but the engineering field is much more exciting.
Good, I like that you share this video, I wish success always A day in the life of a computer engineer

@Shanongao Computer engineering is by definition the application of computer science as well as electronics in order to create a computing device.
