@helenathena Not at all, his father was a pro, and remains his coach to this day. His father knew better than to mess with what worked, and look at the result. Multiple wins, a major, and at one point, #2 in the world.

They ask the pros before the tournament.  For instance tiger gets nikes, sergio gets taylormades, phil gets callaway, and so on and so forth

I think it depends on the tournaments and the tournaments sponsors, I  live in Connecticut and I know at the Travelers Championship all of the pros get Pro V1's on the range.

I like Jim Furyk, but damn that is one messed up swing. I thought I would be able to make sense of it with the slow mo but its even more confusing now :(
