dude the acog is my fave attachment on the aug which is my fave gun on blops. all the other attachments look so horrible on the gun and awkward and it messes up my playing for some reason. but this gun definitely owns and if you can master how to use the gun w/ it's recoil it's unstoppable. I definitely recommend it. only 2 attachments I use on it are acog and suppressor

i honestly would like you to watch the in depth vids postet some months ago by Drift0r, he did a whole in depth series on the guns, and all of the stats on AUG and famas are the same, except for the recoil, which is not as hard on the AUG but everything else is the same. also, could it be, that you meant the muzzle flash by what you called recoil? it's something that pisses me off quite a bit when ADS and you can't see shit. also, it's a goddamn assault rifle not an smg, try to use it that way.

i tried to do something different too, i got the m14 red dot. i was doing pretty well with it. The major downside of that gun is that is sometimes stops shooting and you just can't shoot for like 3 secs. It's such a shame because the gun is actually good.

I LOVE an acog on the aug, long range requires a very clear shot if anything while burst firing, which is a rather fine technique if you use it properly. I give it an 8 outta 10, and famas is crap

God I love the AUG and I find the ACOG on the sight to be fucking sexy. Just wish it didn't increase the recoil since it makes zero goddamn sense for this gun as it's the only gun where this is the real default sight.

@DrDarkheart The ACOG doesn't increase the recoil, it zooms in further so the recoil is more noticeable. As for my opinion on the gun, yes it has the same stats as the Famas but for some reason the AUG just feels weird to me, especially with the ACOG sight. I tried it out for a bit and while I had some success, it just doesn't compare to the Famas in my eyes. AUG gets a 6/10 from me. I hate the ACOG, 0/10.

@HBSanta It does actually. If you've ever used any of the other guns with ACOG you notice how it kicks up more? That's because the likely-hood for it to resist kicking is decreased.
