  • The difference between viola and violin is like difference between:

1 VW Polo and VW Golf (version for motoractive users)

2 Tennis Ball and Baseball ball (sport version)

3 Spurce and Fir (forest version)

4 10a girl and 20a women (woman version)

5 Firefox and Chrome (net version)

    6 Scizors and knife

7 And finnaly the musican version: The violin have strings tuned in e² (659,3Hz), a¹ (440Hz), d¹ (293,7Hz) and g (196Hz) meanwhile viola have a¹ (440Hz), d¹ (293,7Hz) and g (196Hz) and c (132,8Hz).

  • @specodhec341 Most of that meant nothing to me other than 7

  • @specodhec341 Easy on the hertzes, that varies a lot, especially within this genre.

  • VIOLA not violin

  • I am truly in love.. I am going to perfect this piece for my solo and ensemble for My Orchestra, I play the Viola And am excited to play this piece...

  • Tempo choice is nt good too slow at beginning and changes too often I think still amazing playing and sound but this decreased the experience to me

  • _____Novembre 2010.

    _____Grazie e fate girare.

  • My greatest disagreement with Biondi is in his tempo choices; but I must say that the quality of the recordings themselves is unmatched, always clear with no instrument drowned . . . one feels less like a spectator and more like a member of the ensemble.

  • @dolofonos I totally agree, i just hate it when he has to go ruin a good thing by fucking up tempos.

  • Absolut genial.

  • First time I hear viola d'amore, does really fit the name "viola of love " doesn't it?

  • @DeathAngel1029 it is

  • Vivaldist.

Biondi is a truer interpreter than we can imagine.

He is the primier interpreter- this is the state of the art- no truer interpretation exists-

    God we are so gifted.

  • Love this! Love this violinist!

  • @OriginalMoonbeam

    violinist or violist? -.-

  • @Elcomunisto he oftenly plays the violin, he's well known for that. s we can generally refer to him as ''the violinist''. if we're speaking of this particular concerto, we can say he's a violist :p

  • @OriginalMoonbeam He is primarily know as a violinist, so I do refer to him as a violinist..in most of his CDs he plays violin --it's how I first came to know him and recognize him, though he demonstrates virtuosity in viola and viola d'amore!!!!! Quite a master!!!! Thank you for pointing this out!

  • @OriginalMoonbeam lol its not a violin...........

  • Wow... unique to all other interpretations Biondi's has by far the slowest intro... lovely !!! :>
