A scientific theory deos not mean, that it is just a wild guess or a hypothesis.
A scientific theory consists of facts, observations, tests and laws.
We have the theory of gravitation, germtheory and many others!
So the argument, that it is "just a theory" comes from a misunderstanding of scientifc terms.
