Almost a year since this video review was posted and I'm STILL disappointed that I didn't get a V6000HDT before they were all sold out.

This was really the best PMP I remember being sold. The touch + button operation, SC9800 chipset and great Samsung LTPS screen quality made it unique compared to all of the other chinese PMPs being sold. Ainol never released a newer version of this PMP. Now the only PMPs Ainol sells are cheaper models using the SC8600 chipset with cheaper screens.

Can you change the aspect ratio of video files with this device?

i.e. if an AVI file is encoded incorrectly as a 4:3 fullscreen film and looks all squished up will the V6000HDT be able to stretch it out in the correct 19:9 Widescreen aspect?

This looks like a good PMP for watching videos. I like the touch + buttons options and the great Samsung screen. The SC9800 chip on these newer Ainols is an upgrade from the previous models. There is also a firmware upgrade that allows PDF reading on this V6000HDT.

Anyway, I tested the FM transmitter personally, although in a different AInol device, I am sure they are still using the same chip.
