A one thing almost make me cry.. becouse I feel sorry to native americans becouse europeans took their land with violence and anger. -Their, who lived in peace with nature. They had a GREAT culture. And now the "americans" doesnt even respect the real ones! This is so fking wrong.
Wonderful native music, very relaxing. A great culture with amazing customs and beliefs. I love everything about these native peoples. The great spirit of us all loves us all the same, it's what's in our hearts and the way we treat one another that counts. All Native cultures must be preserved,, let us learn from the past and create a better future. Let's all work together and do as much as we can to preserve our precious planet, although a spec in the Universe, it is our home. Peace.
@Mesinbad I agree with everything you'vd said here. My Heart is with You. It's people like you that keeps me strong in finding my Native Heritage. Even if I may not be excepted, what you have said here gives Hope to All. I always come to the Native music and Messages for my Strenght to find my Family . Eakop, Thank You for bringing this Video to us. Mesinbad, Than You again, With Much ALOHA! Nai'a
@dolphinnaia I hope you find your Native Heritage, never get discouraged even when you are not excepted, stay strong on your beliefs, it does not matter what others say or do to put you down, they are blind to the needs of their fellow men. I feel bad for the way all native people have been treated. So I say to you my friend, may the great spirit guide you and may the four winds carry you on eagles wings to your destiny, peace, joy and comfort in your journey, and in your own words ALOHA Nai'a
my ancestors were brothers and sisters of the White sugar clan i am very impressed with this native American art i have not seen this type of ast since i was 5 when my grandmother willa died.
"our land is everything to us....I will tell you one of the things we remember onour land.We remember that our grandfathers paid fro it-with their lives."
peace and honor to you ¡¡¡eakop ... the wisdom tat have your ancestors is amasing ¡¡ i see it in the mayan culture also¡¡ both have great respect for mother earth¡¡¡ blessings from mexico¡¡¡¡¡
too bad our (my) european ancestors didn't realize what a beautiful and spiritual race the native americans were.....the world would be a better place today if we had learned that then, instead of now. . . . .very beautiful , thanks
What's done is done. There is no point on focusing on the bitter past. Taking an apologist's stance would be hollow and fruitless. If our fingers linger on the pages of the past, then the ink of history shall forever bleed into the pages yet to come. Concentrate instead on what CAN be done, what we CAN change, what we CAN heal, and you'll find that the world will become a much more loving place.
I support the Natives in all of their endeavours.
@valiantvyse Thank-you valiantvyse, your words are very wise and true - and I agree. No, I do not focus on the past or ever dwell in the "would have, could have, should have" mode, as I am an optimist, I'm just making a comment. Cheers! :-)
Okay :D I wasn't slamming a label on you or anything, but I just find it silly how so many people "feel sorry for" things they never even had a hand in. I don't believe in inherited guilt, who we are today is much different than those who came before us. Change is inevitable; but it won't come instantly. Humans are opening their eyes ever so slowly, and if we become impatient and try to force them open, we'll only render the whole world blind.
@valiantvyse I agree 100% V, but I also think it's human nature to feel bad about tragic events past or present - and thankfully we humans have those emotions otherwise change might be alot slower. But feeling bad and feeling guilty are 2 different things, to me anyway. Yes, the world is much different today and I suppose I'm more a an idealist than a realist, but I have enjoyed our exchanges. You seem like a very interesting person. Happy Holidays :-)
You are right, it is very permissible to feel sad about these things. What happened was a shame, it was worse than that, but I cannot summon the words to describe it. The worst part is, it still goes on in some parts of the world.
That is because the Native american believe that the earth is there mother so speak. And that they only take what they need to live and are happy with that.
