Silverdome is better then the Metrodome for football, it holds 80,000 and was constructed soley for football not a multipurpose stadium like the Metrodome. I just couldn't stand the Twins there, it looked so tacky and 70s with the turf and football stands behind the wall. And the Yankees rather have faced the Twins over the Tigers, because the Tigers have two stud pitchers in Verlander and Porcello, now they weren't scared of either. Against the Yankees when the Tigers beat them and speaking of the Tigers atleast when they made the playoffs the one year they went all the way to the World Series, what has the Twins done in their five playoff apperance? Win one series against the A's who couldn't win a playoff series against anyone earlier this decade, then the Angels took em out in five games. I'll take my 2006 American League Championship flag over Five division titles and nothing else to show for it after that.
The Vikings kicked your kitties butts and the injury plagued twins kicked your tigers choking butts. Your sports teams suck and your city and state suck the current and future taxpayers' money from the public trough.
Minnesota has 2 pro championships, Detroit has 21, lol so explain how we suck? Overal its no comparasion Detroit is way more sucessful. Currently I'll give you the Vikings and Twins over the Lions and Tigers. Hows the Minnesota Wild, Timberwolves and Gophers? they suck. Red Wings 2 Stanley Cups and 3 Conference championships this decade, and the Pistons 1 championship 2 conference titles and 6 straight Eastern Confrence title games, and Michigan State and Michigan own the frickin Gophers!
I don't care about hockey, professional basketball (since Larry, Magic and Michael aren't in the league anymore and Isiah Thomas isn't around to have Larry steal the inbounds pass from him and dish it off to DJ for the Conference finals win. Then have him say to the press that Larry would be an average player if he were black). Not a Gophers or Big Ten fan either. Big Ten football and basketball are terrible.
Sound to me like your a bandwagon fan then, I support all the Detroit teams even the fickin Lions who do suck and I'll take my shots about them when no come back. Yea the Pistons lost in 87, they won three championships since and 5 Eastern Confrence championships, its been a nice 20 year run as a Pistons fan, only the Lakers, Bulls and Spurs have had a better run during that span. Isiah was a great player and two champion, doesn't mean I agree with everything he says, still a hall of famer.
I don't know where you get your bandwagon fan comment. I didn't grow up in the Twin Cities. I love the Vikings, the Twins and the Yankees. NBA basketball is nothing but the gansta dope tattoo gang. I love college basketball. Isiah would have been an average player if he were white. He is still a bitter person who hates white crackers. Hockey sucks. Most of the kids are not talented enough to play real sports.
