  • Very nice job on that RAF model

  • hey bro i just got some vallejo paints in. tested some out. and gotten a satin finish. now i thought vallejo just comes in flat unless it says gloss or satin or some sort of finish.

  • You cleaver bugger! That's a great effort. 5 stars.

  • Brilliant video, you did a great job on that Tilly :) Thumbs up from me :)

  • This is the first video of yours Ive seen and I like your sense of humor. Makes model video watching here on youtube that much more fun. Hopefully I ll be as skilled as you Ive been building for a few years but not quite confident yet in showing my builds yet. Keep building and I'll keep watching. Laters. Sponsered ugh.

  • WTF?

  • @Slingking11 what?

  • Looks better than my Nascar on my channel! Great work! When are you making any new videos?

  • Nice work!

I will try next time my first airbrush on a 1/87 Model, I hope it works ;)

    Sorry for bad english.

  • veramente interessante bravo

  • You're great man!!! I swear you are a nut, but in a good way. Love your videos and your channel.

  • a rating of awesome lol sound build mate and trust me the raf no doubt at some point acquired (scrounged) a tilly or two from reserve stock if the big model makes made more brit stuff it would open up so many different diorama possibilities

accurate armour is the best for range but exspensive being resin but hey nice video anyways

  • COOL

  • tommel up for the deatil work and improving..hope you week have being nice.

    Best regards Ricky/multiairbrush

  • wrong in the UK they are driving on the left side but in the rest of europe we are driving on the right side of the road just like in north america

  • Hey man first time watching your videos. Really enjoying so far.

Your attention to detail is amazing i'll be sure to try and add some of that thinking into my modeling.

    Keep up the good work

  • Very nice work and interesting video. If the roof of that RAF truck had made a piece of cloth, so that would be received to show even better? But of course it would have been harder work (model mod).

  • are the boxes in the backgroundwaiting to be built?? and also, the brits have the steering wheel on the left... nice build though, how do you become so skilled? :) rock on!

  • Nicely done! I truly admire your time and patience as well as your attention to detail.

  • Nice Video. You sent this to me saying it would help me on something with my model airplane I think but I dont know what though. Thanks anyways for you tryin 2 help me out, wish I could remember what 4. Also I don't know if this counts for anyone else but this video freezes up a lot, more than most, mybe because it is almost 15 min but I DON'T KNOW. But great video and thanks for showing me somthing new that I might do after I get don wit my model airplan right now I just hate painting EVERYTHIN

  • Just curious, but what type of stereo system did you put in the Tilly? Did you put a modern one that can play mp3, or is it stuck with vynal?

  • Those model boxes behind you make me slobber...

  • awesome project, keep it up. ;)

do the doors of the truck really open backwards?

    I'm not sure.

  • awesome project, keep it up. ;)

  • cool dude!

  • Thanks for sending me the vid! Great one as always. Looking forward to seeing this progress!

  • Really like the longer format. Video is great as usual. I know you do this for fun, but the chain is a bit large. They cost a bit more, but if you go into the train section of the hobby shop, they should have some blackened chain that is much closer to scale. Looking good so far, keep it up!

  • Really great stuff. I love your way of presentation, the relaxed way of dealing with "professionals" who might grump about the artistic free style blue color. Pure fun to watch, and I learn. Greetings from Hamburg, Germany

  • Just awsome. Might have been a good thing the door broke off Scott. Looks like the second time you put it on, you put it on at more of an angle which looks much better. Great build!!

  • Nice video !!!

  • dude that blue isn't entirely accurate...

    LOL

    great job, keep it up!

  • Just ignore my previous comments, I was confused.. overworked and underslept!! I've removed them now anyway.. :)

  • Congrats on the near partnership!! I could have been a partner a long time ago, but decided not o take that route, as to me YouTube and the modelling hobby is just for fun, and certainly not to make any money out of.. I also prefer my videos to be advert free.. I have seen too many YouTubers become partners, only to stop posting videos or closing their channels soon afterwards, and I can't help but wonder why?! Still, well done, if partnership is what you want to do.. :)

  • really cool to watch!!! ~♥~Emily

  • great work, absolutely professional

  • I speak American.

  • Nice one! Makes me want to break some of the kits I have stuffed away in the attic.... or just start on my Porco Rosso "Folgore"

  • Very interesting & fun vid. Thanks for sharing. :-)

  • im not really bigg in war stuff im more of a import tuner builder but i like ur attention to detail

  • Very interesting!! I like WW2 history

  • Very nicely done and I wholeheartedly agree, Its a hobby, not work.

Funny voice at 03:09 onwards. Was your basement flooded with Helium :)

One thing though: It's only in the UK that a car steering wheel is on the left side and that people drive on the left side. The whole of Europe, Germany, France, Spain..., is driving on the right (sic) side of the road.

Anyway, good job, very professional and fun presentation. Try to keep the light behind the camera, not bang in front of it :)

  • @DerSpielerMabuse Thanks. Thanks for the info about drivers side. My bad.

  • @scaleModelAddict

I can recommend to listen to Steve Hackett's "The Golden Age of Steam". At the end you find some live BBC radio speak from the Normandy landings with some very British reference to which side of the road you drive.

  • @scaleModelAddict Not true, DerSpielerMabuse, they have steering wheel on right...

  • @DerSpielerMabuse

Switzerland has rigthand driving, but for a long period their trucks and busses had righthand steering - I can't recall when they gave up on it though.

Sweden had lefthand but with lefthand steering drive until 1967 when they went "European"

  • @DerSpielerMabuse I live and drive in the UK. Steering wheel is on the right and we drive on the left side of the road.

  • @KevHw I live and drive in the UK as well, and yes, the steering wheel is on the right and we drive on the left. :)

  • @DerSpielerMabuse steering wheel is on the right and we drive on the left here in the uk also japan and australia dont know if anybody else does mind

  • @DerSpielerMabuse I think you will find that here in England the steering wheel is on the right hand side of cars

  • Interesting .

  • cool ;) im really bad in building planes ^^

  • Nice video! is very entertainning+ you do avery good job at weathering.great man! keep them coming.

  • its really great video

  • Excellent video. I'll look forward to the end of the diorama:)

  • Hey,

an awesome project you got there. I'm curious how you design the Spitfire.

  • great that english aircrafts come to germany and make with trups kill hilters trups

  • Sorry, I'm going to have to nit-pick!! The Battle of Britain wasn't fought between England and Germany, it was fought between Great Britain and Germany!! Note to all our American brothers, please stop referring to Great Britain as England!! Don't forget that Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales, Whilst the United Kingdom consists of Great Britain and Northern Ireland!!

Now that I've got the Geography lesson over and done with, nice video, nice models as usual!!

  • @bruce3371 Just to ad to your England was only a part of Great Britain comment, "Your Right"! And today its "Britain or UK", as in Iraq. Plus, most people think only Englishman flew in the Battle of Britain, "Wrong"! A huge number of the Brave Young Fighter Pilots & Ground Crews were from elsewhere. "Like us Canadians", and many others! OH YA, Great looking truck, nice job, sweet, just beautiful, i can see it racing across the air field now! But, many had the door taken off, haha. Thanks.

  • No, we "Europeans " don´t have the steeringwheel on the right side! Only the brits!

  • @1339LARS OK. Cool. Thanks for the info. No offense intended ;)

  • Hehe, funny Video ^^

  • Hi you addicts. Thanks for uploading. Even thow I'm into trains, I enjoy watching your vids to pick up know how from other modelbuilding aspects and other scales, -You just might learn something...

I also have a tip for you. You can buy much finer chains here. ww.ppw-aline .c o m/detlfrgt.htm#chain

  • Allright, England drives on the wrong side - the rest of Europe drives on the correct side.. ;)

SWEET Tilly however! Very nice one!

  • Watching this makes me realise how crap I am at modeling, haahha, very good (: cant wait to see the final result of the diorama

  • Love the vid. Great channel. Super model.

  • 6:48 new slogan ;)

  • Damn! I gotta get me some corporate booty!

Super FINE work on this build! Look forward to the rest!

  • @SMConsortium They didn't I mean... lol

  • wow! is exciting the scale to favourites.

  • Thanks for the heads up. enjoy all your vids.

There is a Hurricane wreck displayed at the RAF museum round the corner from me. It is beside the role of honours list and has Elgar's "Nimrod" playing in the background. One of the only things on earth that chokes me up.

    Look forward to the spitfire.

  • great video :) i personally would not know that the RAF did not used a blue tilly. i have the same opinion about this as you, modelling is for fun :) have a good time, looking forward to see your next vid.

  • Looks great!

  • Hehe, nice tilly!

I love to have one besides my workstation!

  • that looks sick man keep up the good work

  • Very cool.

  • great stuff, my new badger came in th post today too thanks soo much its great :D

  • Scott, I know your sponsered by Elm City but, for us who are on Social Security, I have found a "cost effective" (hate the word cheap) place for Tamiya and Academy kits.....Hogtrainz

I always have a chuckle or two from your videos but this one I belly laughed through all of it. GREAT GROUP here on SMA

  • blah blah blah...we all know about the battle of britain. Show me the kits! lol

I like the Tamiya truck and its a good scale. You gotta love accessoiry parts. It make the kits a whole lot better. I just remember I need primer too.

    Model building = FUN

I never have tried weathering, its good to know about scalemodelmedic channel.

That stowage looks nice. I have that clipper but in orange, look at some of my videos last year to see it. I want the sprue cutter!

    Xuron = Awesome

  • 3:08 what happened to your voice???

  • @svinehunden the clip got sped up a bit and I didn't notice until after the render.

  • @scaleModelAddict lol

almost thought you was be a helium addict too ;)

great show! how come it can be 14:34 long???

  • @svinehunden youtube increased the limit to 15 minutes. You haven't heard?

  • @scaleModelAddict no not a word... but hey, kool...

  • @scaleModelAddict but ive seen vids of over an hour. how is that possible with a 15 minute limit

  • @1111krol those are youTube partners.

  • @scaleModelAddict right ok, tnx

  • @scaleModelAddict And when did this happen? When downloading videos, I still see the limit in 10 minutes.

  • @scaleModelAddict YAAAAAAAAAAAY! So Im guaranteed not to get my video removed if its that long?????

  • @freddytayam Yes. They increased the limit to 15. Cool eh.

  • @scaleModelAddict Thats soo cool and thanks for the info

  • its very nice so far. love the weathering you've done on the tilly. this will be a very nice project.

  • nice vid.i first thought you'd done the open door wrong, then i googled a picture of a tilly.i think the blue looks better than just boring olive green colours.
