@applexcore0 But would you rather watch Marc sing this song or Jbara sing Deep Into the Ground...Or that Take This song.... Musically Marc got much more hummable songs than Jbara
@applexcore0 What he did with the role is make a despicable character, not only watchable but understandable and serviced an almost completely unlikable character with depth and insight. Jbara had a character with complete depth already written out for him because of the story (that was clearly written with more thought and perspective than the flimsy yet lovable 9 to 5). I think their both commendable on jumping over hurdles with completely different challenges and roles.
@EleahB I really appreciate the charm and "twinkle" Mr. Kudisch brought to the role. And you're right...you can see here the little choices make him more human and that probably wasn't written into the script. I can't see myself being moved to tears by the character arc of Hart...but I certainly am when I see Jbara in Billy Elliot. And I am not at all biased. GJ deserved this hands down this year (and I saw and am HUGE fans of all the performers (you know that, EB)) NO QUESTION!
I wish there was a tie between him and Jbara for the Tony. Both were so deserved. Their category was the only one worth caring about that year, in my opinion.
@EleahB No disrespect for Marc or 9 to 5, but in terms of performance i don't think this role is award worthy, especially compared to Jbara in Billy Elliot.

Greg Jbara better have done amazingly in Billy Eilliot to have beating him out for the Tony. This performance alone deserves one.
