Ok I agree that the horse clearly has trouble in piaffe, SO WHAT! the rest of the test was great and she does get marked down for it but look at what the horse did in the olympics, it could be a lot worse!

I agree with you, yes Satchmo's piaffe isn't perfect but he has a lovely extended trot and he's really working hard for Isabell

Out of curiosity have to ask: after reading so many of the comments under anky-vids (which all seem to include rollkür-talk), Im confused how only of anky are there "proofvids" of her rollkur-use, even few have mentioned werth to use it too besides few other pros? Im not now trying to take anyone´s side, so please no flaming at me :) Is it the WAY anky uses rollkür and how her riding when using it looks? Answers, anyone?

A perfect program is a flawless program. THAT ai`nt happening so VERY OFTEN. Some simple mistakes happens and it is OK. It`s only humans omboard living creatures.

I once read an article about the duo...aparently Satchmo was previously an abused horse, a crazy thing. So she did very well; if she rode Warum Nicht she mite have been closer to winning though...

I think she is almost perfect.. she tried so much with this horse... she came back to dressage world top in an excellent way... She is a top rider.. no matter of the horse.. This is what it counts!

Whether you like this combination or not, it simply is a fact that the last piaffe (and the transition from piaffe to extended trot) is terrible, everyone can see that. I am sure this horse can do better (although I simply don't like the type of horse).

But, you see, that is the beauty of Isabel! She takes a horses that aren't the crowd favorites, that don't have the ideal dressage conformation, the ones that -in different circumstances- may pass by. But she made them into stars! I think that Matine is a more impressive horse, but I admire Satchmo (and others like Warum Nicht) for how far they have come.

I understand that If you are a fan of this combination, you don't want to hear anything bad about them, but you have to admit that the piaffe on +- 6.27 is not good (like the commentator says).

I don't know why you are defending this duo so much, when a horse that I like makes a movement like this, I also say that it is not good.

Do you hear me say I can do it better? NO.

But In my opinion there ARE horses who can do better (Weltall, Blue Hors Matine, Salinero and ofourse Farbenfroh rip). And it are the judges who decide who is the winner, probably they like this horse much, but I simply do not.

His passages were almost on the beat! I think now is a good time to say this, but after watching Satchmo, Salinero, Krack C Bonfire (etc.) Matine's performances kind of look like they just heard the new piece of music and had to think of last-minute things to make it ook good. (MY opinion!)

This kur was fare better than Andreas kur! The Transistions were smoother and the kur correct for the horse. Yes matine has a glamouris Passage and Piaffe! but this kur of isabells should of had Silver and Andreas Bronze.

I agree totally, matine is fantastic but at aachen the transitions were not good, isabell should have won the silver.

Yeh.. matine did have mistakes but i like andreas music better than isbabels. so i say the judges did good judging

yea andreas music is better, and it was fun to watch, isabell had a good test but a bit boring music...matine was a bit off ometimes, shes not one of my favourites...but anyway anky won so im happy! dont care about the rest behing :)!! haha
