the only exist for particles (well not even particles...) that are 10e-33 cm in diameter (that's 10e-20cm smaller than a proton is in diameter...

what I've never understood is if there is a supermassive blackhole at the center of our galaxy, what causes it to glow? blackholes absorb light and are therefore invisible. The surrounding area may be bright as it is a superconcentrated mass of stars all getting pulled to make one super bright, dense cluster of stars. But the very center of this orange circle would be black since it is a black hole, yet it is not. Does anyone know why this is?

@snail562 actually a regular black hole is really really black. the thing there showing in the vid is a quasar, which happens when galaxies clash against each other. quasars are the most dangerous things in space, as a quasar is not just a black hole. the hole is the source of its power. the rest of it, the colors, are dark matter, toxic gases, etc., etc.

You're probbaly imagining a black hole as a hole in a 2D plane, so you'd see the black at the centre. but a black hole is a hole in a 3D plane, so you can't see the centre of an Accresion "disk".

An accretion disk isn't really a disk, its a layer of super-hot ionised particles (plama) around a black hole.

Sadly we won't ever see the Supermassive blackhole, because we would die
