Hey Geoff, this is a great song! I remember when I was a little kid at summer camp we used to sing a song about Johnny Applesead like a prayer every morning before breakfast! The words went like this, "The Lord is good to me, and so I thank the Lord, for giving me the things I need, the sun and the rain and the apple sead. The Lord is good to me!"

Getting to the core of the subject again I see Geoff with a melody that takes instant root and bears fruit. There'll always be something fundamentally funny about the sight of a person with a pan on their head LOL thats why the cartoons I read as a boy couldn't depict a a hospital waiting room scene without featuring a young chap in just such a predicament. :-).

There is of course another A & E waiting room stereotype that involves a middle-aged gentleman in a long mac and slippers but no trousers who er, shall we say, has been looking for love in all the wrong places? But I wouldn't care to mention him on a fine, morally upstanding channel like this. ;-)

Hey Geoff, I really like this song. I've always loved stories about J Appleseed ever since I saw a little disney cartoon about him when I was little. I'm sure you can find it here on YT.
